Patriots sign RBs Farrow, Muhammad, WR Maye
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) — The New England Patriots signed running backs Kenneth Farrow and Khalfani Muhammad and receiver K.J. Maye.
Farrow played in 13 games as a rookie in 2016 and ran 60 times for 192 yards. He also caught 13 passes for 70 yards before sitting out last season with an injury.
Maye was with the Patriots last year, but was released during training camp. He has also spent time in practice with the Giants and Titans.
Patriots RBs Burkhead, Gillislee inactive against Titans
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) — The Patriots will be without running backs Rex Burkhead and Mike Gillislee when they host the Titans in the divisional round Saturday night.
Both Burkhead and Gillislee are out with knee injuries. With them out, the primary rushing duties will fall to Dion Lewis and James White.
Titans re-sign receiver/returner Weems, put Douglas on IR
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Tennessee Titans have re-signed wide receiver and kick returner Eric Weems a day after waiving him, and they also placed wide receiver Harry Douglas on injured reserve.
The Titans announced the moves Sunday.
By placing Douglas on injured reserve, bringing back Weems gives the Titans five wide receivers. The Titans signed Weems as a free agent from Atlanta in March.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Tennessee Titans have signed tight end Jonnu Smith, a third-round draft pick from Florida International.
Smith caught 178 passes for 2,001 yards and 18 touchdowns during his college career. His most productive season came in 2014, when he had 61 receptions for 710 yards and eight touchdowns.
The Titans selected Smith with the 100th overall pick in the draft.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Tennessee Titans have signed sixth-round draft pick Corey Levin of Chattanooga and three seventh-round selections to contracts.
The team announced Friday it has signed Levin and outside linebacker Josh Carraway, offensive tackle Brad Seaton and running back Khalfani Muhammad.
Levin is projected to play either center or guard for the Titans. He started 51 games at Chattanooga while playing both guard and tackle.

At 6:51 a.m.on Thursday morning Perry issued a statement on Twitter saying that he intends to play college football at Washington State. He chose the Cougars over scholarship offers from Cincinnati and Missouri.
Webb solid in Cal debut, Bears beat Hawaii 51-31 Down Under
SYDNEY (AP) — After three seasons at Texas Tech, quarterback Davis Webb made quite an impression in his first game as a graduate transfer at California.
Webb threw four touchdown passes and ran for another score in a stellar debut for California, leading the Bears to a 51-31 win over Hawaii on Saturday in college football's season opener at Sydney's Olympic stadium.
