As preseason winds down, NBA stars are getting some rest
Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward's preseasons ended early.
And they weren't alone around the NBA on Saturday, either.
The Boston Celtics left the biggest two stars on their roster — both of whom are coming off serious injuries, and now apparently dealing with far more minor ones — out of the lineup for their preseason finale at Cleveland.
The official reasons where lower back pain for Hayward and a rib contusion for Irving.

CJ McCollum scored 29 points and Portland won its NBA-best 11th straight game with a 113-105 victory over the Cavaliers on Thursday night.
The Cavs made it uncomfortable for Portland late, when they closed the gap to three points.
"It came at a time when we would have liked it not to come," Damian Lillard said. "We cut it really close. But you can't complain about how you get it — and we got another one."
Just minutes after reports of the Green Bay Packers adding tight end Jimmy Graham surfaced, more shocking news popped up in Green Bay, as the Packers will reportedly release longtime wide receiver Jordy Nelson, according to ESPN.
