WINNIPEG, Manitoba (AP) — Laurent Brossoit faced a barrage of pucks against Vegas, and liked it.
Brossoit, Winnipeg's backup goalie, stopped a franchise-record 26 shots in the second period and made a season-high 43 saves in Jets' 4-1 victory over the Golden Knights on Tuesday.
"You know what, I like periods like that," said Brossoit, who's started 11 games this season (10-0-1) and has seven consecutive wins.

The 31-year-old Little began his NHL career in 2007-08 with the Atlanta Thrashers, who relocated to Winnipeg in 2011.

Brossoit stopped 40 shots at Rogers Arena and Mark Scheifele scored with 1:32 left in the third period as the Jets defeated the Vancouver Canucks 1-0 Saturday night.

CHICAGO (AP) — Mark Scheifele and the Winnipeg Jets just keep rolling along.
Another long night was no big deal.
Scheifele scored twice, including 50 seconds into overtime, and the Jets beat the Chicago Blackhawks 4-3 on Friday for their fourth consecutive victory.

It was the 61st five-goal game in league history. Darryl Sittler of the Toronto Maple Leafs was the last player to score six goals in a game, on April 22, 1976, against Boston.
Brandon Tanev, Blake Wheeler, and Jack Roslovic also scored for the Jets, who snapped their first two-game losing streak of the season.

DALLAS (AP) — Jason Dickinson buried a rebound 1:34 into overtime, Ben Bishop made 23 saves and the Dallas Stars beat the Boston Bruins 1-0 on Friday night.
Dickinson and Mattias Janmark led a 2-on-1 against goalie Tuukka Rask. Janmark shot from the left side, and the rebound slid to Dickinson right in front. He lifted the puck in for his fourth goal.
Sheary scores in 7th round of shootout, Sabres beat Jets 2-1
WINNIPEG, Manitoba (AP) — Conor Sheary and Carter Hutton gave the surging Buffalo Sabres another full two points in the standings.
Sheary scored in the seventh round of a shootout, Hutton stopped 25 shots and the Sabres beat the Winnipeg Jets 2-1 on Friday night for their fourth straight victory.
Sheary beat Laurent Brossoit with a shot over the goalie's glove.
Byfuglien’s late goal gives Jets 2-1 win over Red Wings
DETROIT (AP) — Dustin Byfuglien said everything he wanted to say during another win for Winnipeg.
The veteran defenseman got his 500th career point when he snapped a tie with 6:45 left, helping the Jets beat the Detroit Red Wings 2-1 on Friday night.
Winnipeg (7-3-1) won for the fourth time in five games. Kyle Connor scored in the second period, and Laurent Brossoit stopped 27 shots.
