SUNRISE, Fla. (AP) — Nikita Kucherov got back on the board, and the Tampa Bay Lightning continued their roll toward the top seed in the NHL playoffs.
Kucherov had two goals and an assist to lift Tampa Bay over the Florida Panthers 5-2 on Sunday night. Kucherov's first-period goal ended an 11-game span without a goal. It was his first since Jan. 12 against Buffalo.
"We knew it was a matter of time, but it was a big one for us," coach Jon Cooper said.

Coyotes recall Domingue, Mermis from Tucson
GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — The Arizona Coyotes have recalled goaltender Louis Domingue and defenseman Dakota Mermis from the Tucson Roadrunners of the American Hockey League.
The Coyotes also assigned defenseman Joel Hanley and goalie Hunter Miska to Tucson on Wednesday.
The 25-year-old Domingue is 0-6-0 with a 4.33 goals-against average for Arizona his season. The 23-year-old Mermis has a goal and two assists in seven games with Tucson this season.
Michael Houser had his best game of the season thus far, stopping 22 shots in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Cincinnati Cyclones on Friday night, and less than a day later he was called up to Tucson of the American Hockey League.
Houser is the first player to be called up to Tucson through the Komets' first-year affiliation with the NHL's Arizona Coyotes, who have quite a difficult-to-decipher goaltending situation.
Blackhawks keep Coyotes winless with 4-2 victory
GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — The Chicago Blackhawks took a two-goal lead on a penalty shot by Tommy Wingels, only to have it erased upon review. The struggling Arizona Coyotes scored quickly after the rare play, tying the game and snatching the momentum.
The Blackhawks are a veteran team, though, and kept grinding to keep the Coyotes winless. Wingels got to cap it with an empty-net goal to boot.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — The Arizona Coyotes recalled goalie Marek Langhamer on an emergency basis from Tucson of the American Hockey League on Thursday before their game against the Los Angeles Kings.
Langhamer replaced backup goalie Louis Domingue, listed as day-to-day with a lower-body injury.
The 22-year-old Langhamer, from the Czech Republic, is 4-5-1 with a 2.90 goals-against average in 12 games for Tucson. He was drafted by the Coyotes in the seventh round in 2012.
