Witness: Luke Wilson a ‘hero’ in deadly Los Angeles crash
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Actor Luke Wilson played a real-life hero in the aftermath of a Los Angeles car crash that also involved golfer Bill Haas, a witness said Wednesday.
Wilson, whose own car was clipped in the three-vehicle accident, pulled a 50-year-old woman from the smoking wreckage of her BMW.
"He was the hero, he led the charge," said 46-year-old tattoo artist Sean Heirigs, who was right behind the accident.

PGA Tour golfer Bill Haas was injured in a car crash in Los Angeles that killed one driver Tuesday evening, The Associated Press reported.
The driver of the Ferrari in which Haas was riding was killed when the car collided with a BMW and rolled over. The Ferrari then clipped another vehicle, driven by actor Luke Wilson.

DALLAS (AP) — Robert A. Wilson, father of actors Luke, Owen and Andrew Wilson, and a landmark public television station executive who introduced "Monty Python's Flying Circus" to its first American audience, has died in Dallas. He was 76.
Luke Wilson told The Dallas Morning News (http://bit.ly/2pj197k ) that his father died Friday after years of fighting Alzheimer's disease.
