Cardi B beats the boys to win rap album honors at Grammys
LOS ANGELES (AP) — An overwhelmed Cardi B won her first Grammy Award on Sunday night, making history as the first solo woman to win best rap album.
"Invasion of Privacy" beat out albums by the late Mac Miller, Nipsey Hussle, Pusha T and Travis Scott.
"Oh my goodness," she said, struggling to gather herself. "Whoa, child."
Cardi B is just the fifth woman ever nominated in the category, which was created in 1995.
Lauryn Hill was part of the Fugees when the group won in 1997 for "The Score."
Grande cancels show due to ‘unforeseeable health reasons’
NEW YORK (AP) — Ariana Grande has canceled a Las Vegas performance days before New Year's Eve "due to unforeseeable health reasons."
Grande was originally scheduled to perform at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on Saturday. The hotel said Friday in a statement to The Associated Press that the pop star will not perform.
The hotel said guests can receive refunds at their point of purchase.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Rapper Mac Miller died from an accidental overdose caused by a combination of cocaine, alcohol, and the powerful opioid fentanyl, a coroner's report released Monday said.
The Los Angeles County coroner's report named Miller's cause of death as "mixed toxicity" of the three substances found in his system.

John Mayer, SZA, Chance to perform at benefit for Mac Miller
NEW YORK (AP) — Chance the Rapper, John Mayer and SZA are set to perform at a benefit concert for the late rapper Mac Miller.
Live Nation announced Tuesday that Travis Scott, Miguel and Ty Dolla $ign will also perform at the "Mac Miller: A Celebration of Life" concert on October 31 at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles.
Tickets go on sale Friday. The concert will benefit the Mac Miller Circles Fund.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — It's true, Pete Davidson says: He and Ariana Grande are engaged.
The "Saturday Night Live" cast member confirmed their rumored engagement to Jimmy Fallon on NBC's "Tonight Show."
Fallon put Davidson on the spot Wednesday, telling him he didn't have to get engaged to the pop star to come on the talk show.
Replied Davidson: "But I did, though."
When Fallon congratulated him and shook his hand, Davidson said he felt like he'd won a contest.
