PITTSBURGH (AP) — Eric Williams Jr. scored 22 points, tying his season high, as Duquesne topped George Washington 85-69 on Saturday. Frankie Hughes added 21 points for the Dukes.

WASHINGTON (AP) — De'Riante Jenkins scored 14 points, Marcus Evans and Vince Williams hit six straight free throws in the final minute and VCU held off George Washington 60-50 Wednesday night.
Evans and Marcus Silva-Santos scored 10 points each for VCU (16-6, 7-2 Atlantic 10 Conference). Williams scored four of his six points in the last 84 seconds to blunt a George Washington comeback. Santos-Silva had 11 rebounds for his fourth double-double this season.

WASHINGTON (AP) — DJ Williams scored a career-high 30 points and George Washington beat Fordham 79-61 on Wednesday night, snapping a three-game skid.
Williams was 11 of 25 from the field for the Colonials (7-14, 3-5 Atlantic 10 Conference). Maceo Jack added 17 points and five rebounds and Justin Mazzulla had 11 points, nine rebounds, six assists and three steals.
Career game for M Hughes, Duquesne tops GW in OT 91-85
WASHINGTON (AP) — Michael Hughes scored 21 points, grabbed 14 rebounds and blocked seven shots — all career highs — and Duquesne defeated George Washington 91-85 in overtime on Sunday.
Hughes also scored the layup with 5.2 seconds left in regulation to tie the game at 77.
Colonials recover from poor first half to win 59-56
PHILADELPHIA (AP) — DJ Williams scored 14 points, Terry Nolan added 12 points and 10 rebounds and George Washington bounced back from a miserable first half to take a 59-56 victory over La Salle on Wednesday night.
Justin Mazzulla added 11 points and Maceo Jack 10 for the Colonials (6-11, 2-2 Atlantic 10), who have won four of their last five games. After shooting just 16 percent and trailing 23-14 at halftime, the Colonials bounced back to shoot 68 percent in the second half.
Cayo leads Richmond past George Washington 76-56
WASHINGTON (AP) — Nathan Cayo had 18 points and seven rebounds as Richmond rolled past George Washington 76-56 on Saturday.

Sophs carry George Washington to win over Saint Joseph’s
PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Terry Nolan Jr. scored 23 points with 12 rebounds and George Washington rallied from a 12-point deficit to beat St. Joseph's 70-56 on Sunday in the Colonials' Atlantic 10 opener.
Nolan, who posted his first career double-double, teamed with fellow sophomores Justin Mazzulla (13) and Maceo Jack (12) for 48 of the Colonials' points. The trio, along with GW's other sophomore, Javier Langarica, have started together the last six games.
Mazzulla’s late tip-in helps George Washington get OT win
WASHINGTON (AP) — Justin Mazzulla followed his own missed layup with a tip-in to give George Washington the lead in the final seconds of overtime and the Colonials held on to beat American 71-67 Saturday afternoon.
Terry Nolan Jr made three free throws in the finals 19 seconds of the extra period to secure the win for the Colonials (4-9). Stacy Beckton Jr. had a layup and split a pair of free throws in the final 13 seconds for George Washington's final points.
Kirkwood leads Harvard past George Washington 75-61
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) — Noah Kirkwood scored 20 points with six assists as Harvard snapped a two-game skid with a 75-61 win over George Washington on Saturday.
Kirkwood was 7 of 12 from the field including four from distance for the Crimson (5-5). Justin Bassey added 13 points and eight rebounds and Danilo Djuricic had 11 points and eight rebounds.
