BALTIMORE (AP) — Kyson Rawls had a career-high 21 points and Sherwyn Devonish-Prince Jr. scored 16 and Morgan State beat Bethune-Cookman 77-71 on Saturday to end a two-game skid.
Malik Miller and David Syfax each scored 10 points for Morgan State (8-12, 3-4 Mid-Eastern Conference). Martez Cameron distributed five assists and now has 401 for his career. The Bears lead the all-time series 35-26.
The Bears trailed 31-25 at intermission but exploded for a season-high 52 points in the second half.

Duffus, Maitland lift Bethune-Cookman to first road win
BOSTON (AP) — Dondre Duffus and Malik Maitland scored 14 points apiece and Bethune-Cookman picked up its first road win of the season, defeating Boston University 74-66 on Friday night.
The Wildcats (5-9) lost their first seven road games but came through against the Terriers by shooting 51 percent (23-45), including 8 of 12 from 3-point range.
Houston Smith and Shawntrez Davis added 13 points each for BCU. Smith had a team-high seven rebounds.
Hunter’s career game leads Saint Mary’s past Bethune-Cookman
MORAGA, Calif. (AP) — Jordan Hunter had his first double-double with career highs of 24 points and 10 rebounds, Jordan Ford added 23 points and Saint Mary's rolled to a 93-61 win over Bethune-Cookman on Tuesday night.
Hunter and Ford were both 8 of 10 from the field. Hunter was 8 of 12 from the foul line and Ford made three 3-pointers. Saint Mary's shot 59 percent for the game and 64 percent in the second half — including 8 of 16 from 3-point range.
Diakite scores 15, Bethune-Cookman tops FAU 72-70
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Soufiyane Diakite scored 15 points and blocked three shots, Wali Parks made a go-ahead 3-pointer late, and Bethune-Cookman beat Florida Atlantic 72-70 on Saturday.
Parks made it 70-68 with 37 seconds left and after the teams traded turnovers, he made 1 of 2 free throws with 18 seconds to go.

The Hatters jumped to an 8-1 lead and Leo Goodman's 3-pointer made it 23-16 midway through the half. Bethune-Cookman (3-4) responded with a 14-4 run, including back-to-back 3-pointers by Maitland.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — JT Gibson scored 21 points, Zach Jackson added 20 and Omaha blew out Bethune-Cookman in the second half for a 76-56 victory on Tuesday night.
Bethune-Cookman built a 10-point halftime lead, 37-27, but was outscored 49-19 in the second half.
Miami fights off Bethune Cookman in 78-70 win
CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) — Chris Lykes scored 21 points and Miami fought off Bethune Cookman for a 78-70 victory on Saturday.
Lykes' two free throws with 2:19 remaining gave Miami (3-0) the lead for good at 69-67. Anthony Lawrence and DJ Vasiljevic hit 3-pointers in the final two minutes to secure the win for Miami.
Vasiljevic scored 20 points and Lawrence finished with 13 points.
Morehead State AD: Review of Woods ‘nearing completion’
MOREHEAD, Ky. (AP) — Morehead State athletic director Brian Hutchinson said the university's review of Sean Woods is "nearing completion" as the suspended men's basketball coach faces a misdemeanor battery charge in Indiana.
Woods has been suspended since Nov. 22 and has a hearing set for Feb. 9 in Evansville. Two players say in a court affidavit that they had altercations with Woods.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (AP) — Morehead State suspended men's basketball coach Sean Woods has been charged with misdemeanor battery in Indiana.
Media outlets report a police affidavit accuses Woods of shoving or hitting two players, sophomore Malik Maitland and junior Soufiyane Diakite, while the team was playing an away game at the University of Evansville last month.

MOREHEAD, Ky. (AP) — Malik Maitland scored 20 points and Morehead State coasted to a season-opening 106-41 win over NAIA Kentucky Christian on Friday night.
With 13 of 14 players scoring, the Eagles were never threatened, racing to a 21-0 lead five minutes into the game.
Maitland made 7 of 9 shots, including 5 of 6 3-pointers.
The Eagles shot 56 percent from the field, hitting half of their 22 shots from long range. They led 53-16 at the half.
