NORFOLK, Va. (AP) — Ahmad Caver had 20 points as Old Dominion topped Charlotte 73-60 on Saturday.
B.J. Stith had 17 points for Old Dominion (21-6, 11-3 Conference USA), which won its fifth straight game. Xavier Green added 10 points and six rebounds.
Milos Supica had 16 points for the 49ers (6-19, 3-11). Jon Davis added 13 points. He also had 10 turnovers but only four assists. Malik Martin had 12 points.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) — Jon Davis had 29 points as Charlotte topped UAB 69-62 on Saturday night.
Malik Martin had 13 points and six rebounds for Charlotte (6-18, 3-10 Conference USA), which broke its six-game losing streak.
Lewis Sullivan had 15 points and seven rebounds for the Blazers (14-11, 6-6), whose losing streak reached four games. Makhtar Gueye added 12 points and 12 rebounds. Tyreek Scott-Grayson had 12 points and nine rebounds.
Murray State rallies late to hold off Tennessee Tech 67-63
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Shaq Buchanan dunked off a pass from Ja Morant with 1:31 left to put Murray State ahead to stay, and the Racers rallied late to hold off Tennessee Tech 67-63 Saturday night.
With the win, Murray State (17-4, 8-2 Ohio Valley Conference) avoided back-to-back losses for the first time this season. The Racers now have won four straight over Tennessee Tech in a series they've dominated now 133-50.
North Texas defeats Charlotte 73-66, stays in thick of CUSA
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Ryan Woolridge stole the ball and flew for a fast-break layup to spark a 6-2 finish and North Texas turned back Charlotte 73-66 Saturday.
Umoja Gibson and Roosevelt Smart led North Texas with 19 points apiece, Gibson draining five 3-pointers and Smart three. Woolridge scored nine points and had a game-high seven assists.
Adams scores late, helps Rice defeat Charlotte 65-61
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Ako Adams scored 16 points, including a pair of clutch free throws with seven seconds left and Rice edged Charlotte 65-61 Thursday night, just the second win on the road this season for the Owls.
Robert Martin added 15 points on 5-for-8 shooting with three 3-pointers and pulled down seven rebounds. Trey Murphy III scored 12 points and had three steals. The Owls (9-13, 4-5 Conference USA) made half their 22 attempts from beyond the 3-point arc.
Robb with 12 points, Charlotte beats Louisiana Tech 55-40
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Cooper Robb scored 12 points on three 3-pointers and Charlotte beat Louisiana Tech 55-40 on Saturday.
Malik Martin added 10 points and Jon Davis chipped in nine for the 49ers (5-12, 2-4 Conference USA).
Charlotte shot 44 percent from the field compared to 28 percent for Louisiana Tech which took 23 shots from beyond the arc but made on one of them (four percent).
Tennessee State splits season series with Tennessee Tech
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Stokley Chaffee Jr. scored 10 of his 13 points in the second half and grabbed eight rebounds and Tennessee State defeated Tennessee Tech 79-62 on Thursday night, splitting the season series.
The Tigers (5-12, 2-3 Ohio Valley), who lost at home to the Golden Eagles 66-64 in a conference opener on Jan. 3, snapped a three-game losing streak to their state rival by posting just their second road win in eight games this season.
Tennessee Tech defeats SIU-Edwardsville 78-69 in OT
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Micaiah Henry had 14 points, 10 rebounds and a career-high tying four blocks to lead Tennessee Tech to a 78-69 overtime win over SIU-Edwardsville on Thursday night for its fourth home win in a row.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Dylan Windler scored 23 points, pulled down nine rebounds and Belmont defeated Tennessee Tech 79-67 Saturday.
Windler scored on a putback to give Belmont a double-digit lead four minutes into the second half and a 3-pointer that pushed the lead to 16 points, 61-45, with 11 minutes left.
Seth Adelsperger and Nick Muszynski each scored 12 for Belmont (10-3, 1-1 Ohio Valley Conference), which shot 52 percent in the second half to pull away.
Rhode Island tops Charlotte in Hawaii’s Diamond Head Classic
HONOLULU (AP) — Fatts Russell scored 20 points, Cyril Langevine had 13 points and 11 rebounds and Rhode Island beat Charlotte 75-61 on Sunday night in the Diamond Head Classic.
Rhode Island started the game by scoring the first nine points and added a 13-0 run for a 25-5 lead at the 11:29 mark. URI led by 20 points until a 14-2 run kept Charlotte within reach at the break.
Vick, Martin help Tenn. Tech to 91-80 win over Savannah St.
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Hunter Vick and Malik Martin combined for 42 points as Tennessee Tech dominated the first half and rolled to a 91-80 win over Savannah State in a rematch on Thursday night.
Savannah State won the first meeting 97-83 on Nov. 13.
Vick drained four from distance and made 8 of 16 field goals to total 22 points. Martin added 20 and Courtney Alexander II scored 11 while grabbing 12 rebounds.
Martin sparks late rally, Charlotte edges Longwood 42-39
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Malik Martin scored 17 points, including 3-pointers on consecutive Charlotte possessions, sparking a late-game breakaway run as the 49ers upended Longwood 42-39 Monday night.
The win ended Longwood's 4-0 start, its best start since it moved to Division I. Charlotte (2-2) is no stranger to comebacks, having rallied from 24 down to upset Oklahoma State by two points earlier this season.
TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — David Collins scored 21 points and Malik Martin scored 15 and South Florida ended the regular season with a 65-54 win over SMU on Sunday.

Igbanu leads second-half surge in Tulsa’s 73-61 victory
TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Martins Igbanu scored 14 of his 16 points in the second half and Tulsa beat South Florida 73-61 on Sunday for the Golden Hurricane's fifth straight victory.
Junior Etou added 11 points and nine rebounds and DaQuan Jeffries and Curran Scott also scored 11 apiece. Tulsa (16-10, 9-5), in fourth place in the American Athletic Conference, outrebounded USF 39-31, including 13-7 on the offensive glass.
Jiggetts reaches 1,000 points in South Florida’s 83-63 win
TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Malik Martin threw down a pair of dunks, Tulio Da Silva followed with two more and Stephan Jiggetts reached 1,000 career points as South Florida broke open a close game after halftime for an 83-63 defeat of Bethune Cookman Thursday night.
The Bulls (5-6) scored the last four points of the first half to take a 36-35 lead into the break, and came out smoking for the second half, opening on a 20-13 run for a 56-48 lead by 13:17 left to play.
Martin’s 24 & 10 lead USF past Arkansas State 72-61
TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Malik Martin scored a career-high 24 points on 9-of-11 shooting and grabbed 10 rebounds for his first double-double and South Florida pulled away from Arkansas State 72-61 on Friday.

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Stephan Jiggetts scored 16 points and grabbed six rebounds as South Florida beat Howard 75-52 on Wednesday night.
Jiggetts was 5 of 9 from the field including four 3-pointers for the Bulls (3-2). Payton Banks added 14 points and Tulio Da Silva had 10 points and six rebounds. The team averaged 45 percent shooting from the field compared to 33 percent for Howard.
Jiggetts’ jumper sends S. Florida past FAU 60-59
TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Tulio Da Silva scored 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds and Stephan Jiggetts' jumper with 12 seconds to go gave South Florida a 60-59 win over Florida Atlantic on Friday night in the season opener for both teams.
After an Owls timeout, Gerdarius Troutman missed a 3-point attempt with two seconds left and Malik Martin secured the rebound for the win.
