Trump to be interviewed by CBS’ Brennan before Super Bowl
WASHINGTON (AP) — CBS News says "Face the Nation" moderator Margaret Brennan will sit down with President Donald Trump for an interview that will air before Sunday's Super Bowl.
CBS says the interview will be taped Friday. Part of it will air during the regular "Face the Nation" broadcast Sunday morning, while the rest will be shown around 3:30 p.m. EST during CBS' pregame coverage.
During the long commutes back home to Danbury from Convent of the Sacred Heart in Greenwich, Margaret Brennan had a lot of time to think about the wide world and what her place in it might be.
Now, 20 years after graduating from the school, Brennan may just have arrived at the sweet spot of her professional life: Moderator of CBS, “Face the Nation,” her debut having occurred this past Sunday.
