Man arrested, accused in death of 62-year-old Marion man
MARION, Ill. (AP) — A southern Illinois man has been charged in the death of a 62-year-old Marion man whose body was found in his home.
Ernest Alex Pulliam of rural Williamson County was arrested Tuesday in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and charged with first-degree murder in the death of Donald R. Schultz. The victim's body was found Saturday in his Marion home.
The Marion Police Department revealed in a statement that Schultz may have been killed on Jan. 15 during an armed robbery.

MARION, Ind. (AP) — Authorities have released the names of a man and two boys found slain in a northeastern Indiana home.
WISH-TV reports that Grant County coroner Chris Butche says 42-year-old Javon Blackwell Sr., his 12-year-old son Javon Blackwell Jr. and 11-year-old stepson Jayzon Blackwell were shot to death.
WTHR-TV reports that a relative called police after finding the bodies about 1 p.m. Sunday in Marion, about 60 miles northeast of Indianapolis.

The Grant County Sheriff's Department says a police dog team helped find the body of George Boller on Sunday on his rural property located east of Interstate 69.
WISH-TV reports deputies say the 79-year-old man was last seen alive the afternoon of Oct. 25.

Affected workers were treated at a hospital after the incident Thursday at Marion Correctional Institution, about 45 miles (72 kilometers) north of Columbus.

3-year-old accidentally shoots, wounds 2-year-old brother
MARION, Ind. (AP) — Authorities say a 3-year-old boy accidentally shot and wounded his 2-year-old brother at their home in northeastern Indiana.
The shooting happened Monday near the Grant County community of Marion, about 60 miles (100 kilometers) northeast of Indianapolis. State police and the county sheriff's office responded and found that the younger brother had been shot in the shoulder and the bullet was lodged in a wall.
The wounded boy was taken to a hospital for treatment.
