Undefeated Rams make splash at deadline trading for Fowler
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The NFL's lone undefeated team has just made an already dominant defensive front even deeper.
The Los Angeles Rams swapped a pair of draft picks for Jaguars pass rusher Dante Fowler on Tuesday, adding the third overall pick in 2015 to a defense already stocked with Aaron Donald, Ndamukong Suh, Michael Brockers and Mark Barron for the most surprising move at the NFL trade deadline.
Chargers without 2 starting offensive tackles vs. Raiders
The Los Angeles Chargers will be without their two starting tackles for today's game against the Oakland Raiders.
Russell Okung is inactive due to a groin injury that happened during the first half of last Sunday's game against San Francisco. The ninth-year left tackle also missed a game last year due to a groin injury. Right tackle Joe Barksdale is missing his fourth straight game due to a knee injury he sustained during the opener against Kansas City.
Vikings’ Cook, Rams’ Peters active for Thursday showdown
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook and Los Angeles Rams cornerback Marcus Peters are active for their teams' Thursday night meeting.
Cook missed the Vikings' loss to Buffalo last week with a hamstring strain. He had 78 yards rushing and 107 yards receiving in Minnesota's first two games.
Peters injured his calf during the Rams' win over the Chargers last week. The former Pro Bowl selection tested his leg on the Coliseum field before the game.
LB Mark Barron inactive for Rams vs. Raiders
OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — Los Angeles Rams linebacker Mark Barron is inactive for the season opener against the Oakland Raiders with an Achilles tendon injury.
Ramik Wilson is expected to start in Barron's place Monday night.
The other inactive players for the Rams are quarterback Brandon Allen, running backs Justin Davis and John Kelly, linebacker Trevon Young, and defensive tackles Sebastian Joseph-Day and Tanzel Smart.
IRVINE, Calif. (AP) — With 17 career starts in three seasons, Los Angeles Rams inside linebacker Ramik Wilson might not look like a grizzled veteran.
However, at a position where the second and third-most experienced players have combined for six career starts and the other three are rookies, the 25-year-old Wilson certainly qualifies.
New York Giants reportedly will acquire LB Alec Ogletree from Rams for draft picks
The Los Angeles Rams reportedly will be trading linebacker Alec Ogletree to the New York Giants for two 2018 draft picks, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The Rams will receive fourth- and sixth-round picks from the Giants and will send Ogletree and a 2019 seventh-rounder to New York.
That will give the Rams a slew of picks on Day 3 of the draft — two fourth-rounders, one fifth and four sixth-round selections. They lack a second-round pick after trading it as part of the Jared Goff deal two years ago.

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. (AP) — Los Angeles Rams general manager Les Snead has to put together a complicated puzzle this offseason.

Cooper is a Pro Bowl selection after a strong season on special teams. He also was limited in practice this week with a shoulder injury from the Rams' regular-season finale.
