Houston 3B Bregman moves to leadoff spot for Game 4 of ALCS
HOUSTON (AP) — Alex Bregman is in the leadoff spot for the Houston Astros in Game 4 of the AL Championship Series against the Boston Red Sox after batting third in the team's first six playoff games.
Houston manager AJ Hinch made the change after the Red Sox walked Bregman seven times combined in the first three games of this series. Hinch made the change with the Astros trailing 2-1 going into Wednesday's matchup.

Miller failed to get an out in relief of starter Carlos Carrasco, allowing a go-ahead double to Marwin Gonzalez as the Cleveland Indians lost to Houston 3-1 Saturday and fell into a 2-0 AL Division Series deficit.
"I wasn't good," Miller said. "I wasn't effective."

Gonzalez saves a run with big play, welcomes son soon after
HOUSTON (AP) — Marwin Gonzalez capped his big game in the AL Championship Series opener with an even bigger moment.
Soon after throwing out a runner at the plate to help the Houston Astros beat the New York Yankees 2-1 on Friday night, Gonzalez dashed to the hospital to be there for the birth of his third child, a boy named Blake Jacob.
With an outfield assist to end the top of the fifth inning, Marwin Gonzalez kept the Yankees scoreless and preserved the Astros' 2-1 victory in Game 1 of the American League Championship Series.
Gonzalez scooped the ball in left field and unfurled it, tumbling in the process, on one hop to home plate, where Astros catcher Brian McCann tagged out Yankees first baseman Greg Bird.
"All I was thinking was to get to the ball as fast as I could," Gonzalez said.
