Starry Saint Laurent show in Paris sees models walk on water
PARIS (AP) — With a powerful front row of stars, Saint Laurent headlined the second day of Paris Fashion Week in an eclectic French twist on American styles that featured models walking on water.
Tuesday's spring-summer collections also showcased emerging talents: from 26-year-old designer Marine Serre to the Tokyo-based house Anrealage.

My first exposure to Chris Cornell came in the 1992 film “Singles.” Matt Dillon’s character — almost a parody of Cornell — tries to impress Bridget Fonda’s character by installing her car stereo. As he cranks up the volume, Cornell walks by and gives a little nod like, “Right on man, sweet sound system.” Then the volume of the stereo shatters every window in the car. Cornell doesn’t break character; he remains stoned out and grooving to the tunes.
David Kimball, former Williams Center Cinema manager, returns to arthouse cinema in Tulsa
It doesn't take much effort for David Kimball to recall the heyday of the Williams Center Cinema, going back to his working there at age 16 in 1980.
"It was so exciting. It was so beautiful," he said of the experience at the 700-seat luxury theater inside downtown's Williams Center Forum, where "the ice rink was so busy, and there were the shops, and the Magic Pan for crepes....It was all great people-watching."

NEW YORK (AP) — A new stage musical based on Garry Marshall's 1984 movie, "The Flamingo Kid," is hoping to cha-cha to Broadway by 2018.
