MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) _ Lithia Motors Inc. (LAD) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter profit of $59.9 million.
On a per-share basis, the Medford, Oregon-based company said it had net income of $2.54. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were $2.57 per share.
The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $2.42 per share.
The auto dealership chain posted revenue of $2.97 billion in the period.
