VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) — The San Jose Sharks took no pity on teenager Mike DiPietro making his NHL debut in the nets for the Vancouver Canucks.
Evander Kane scored twice, leading the Sharks to a 7-2 rout of the Canucks on Monday night.
The victory moves San Jose into first place in the Western Conference and extends the Sharks' winning streak to six games.
Timo Meier, Melker Karlsson, Tomas Hertl, Kevin Lebanc and Joe Pavelski also scored for the Sharks. Martin Jones had 25 saves.
Sharks get late goals to rally past Golden Knights 3-2

EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) — Erik Karlsson's two-game suspension didn't slow him down one bit.
Karlsson returned with a goal and three assists, Logan Couture and Melker Karlsson each scored twice, and the San Jose Sharks beat the slumping Edmonton Oilers 7-4 on Saturday.
Karlsson had been banned for an illegal check to the head of Kings forward Austin Wagner.

CHICAGO (AP) — The San Jose Sharks roared back for a win and the reeling Chicago Blackhawks lost more than just another game.
Melker Karlsson, Evander Kane, Kevin Labanc, Tomas Hertl and Logan Couture each had a goal and an assist, and the Sharks rallied to beat the Blackhawks 7-3 on Sunday night for their fourth straight victory.

"I think it's going well, capitalizing on the chances and paying real well. Our line has been very good and we're fortunate to get a lot of chances, so we got to keep going."
Burns scores game winner in Sharks 5-4 win over Hurricanes
SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) — Brent Burns gave up a chance to score during regulation. He made sure he took his last shot.
Burns scored 22 seconds into overtime to lift the San Jose Sharks over the Carolina Hurricanes 5-4 on Thursday night.
"It started with Jumbo (Joe Thornton), made a great play coming to help in the D-zone," Burns said. "And then (Joe Pavelski) obviously made just a great pass there, nice sauce over two sticks, and nice to see it go in."
Ward’s skate deflection goal tips Sharks past Kings, 2-1
LOS ANGELES (AP) — After the Sharks and the Kings struggled to shoot any pucks into either net throughout a defense-dominated night, Joel Ward put his best foot forward.

SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) — The San Jose Sharks have signed forwards Melker Karlsson and Joonas Donskoi to new contracts before they become restricted free agents.
The Sharks announced a three-year deal with Karlsson and two-year contract for Donskoi on Friday. Both forwards could have been restricted free agents this summer.

Brent Burns scored 2:46 into overtime, Martin Jones stopped 34 shots and the Sharks beat the Anaheim Ducks 3-2 on Tuesday night.

MONTREAL (AP) — David Schlemko, Patrick Marleau, Timo Meier and Melker Karlsson scored to chase Carey Price in the second period, and the San Jose Sharks beat the Montreal Canadiens 4-2 on Friday night.
Looking for his 250th victory, Price was pulled after conceding the four goals on 18 shots. Al Montoya made five saves in relief.
Brian Flynn and Jeff Petry scored in the third period for Montreal. The Canadiens are 1-7-1 against San Jose in the last six years.
