Wade landed awkwardly while going for a rebound with 15 seconds left in the first quarter. Wade's head bounced off the floor and he immediately grabbed the back of his head, and then rolled onto his stomach, where he lay while being checked by a team trainer.

The bruising is significant, but given the way he got hurt the injury could have been worse. Jones was injured Sunday in Miami's win over New York. He was driving toward the basket when his knee buckled. He left the court in obvious pain, and was unable to put any weight on the leg.

Wayne Ellington scored each of his 19 points in the second half, and the Heat handed the New York Knicks their ninth straight loss with a 106-97 victory on Sunday night.
Miami had seven players score in double figures in its second straight win. Wade had 15 points and 10 assists, and Hassan Whiteside finished with 13 points and 16 rebounds.

Trailing at the break, Miami took over in the final two quarters and defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 100-94.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — A former top Sacramento Kings executive has pleaded guilty to siphoning $13.4 million from the team to buy Southern California beachfront properties, according to court records.
The records show former chief revenue officer Jeffrey David pleaded guilty Tuesday to federal charges of wire fraud and identity theft. He faces a maximum of 10 years in prison when he is sentenced April 15.
Irving’s 26 points, 10 assists carries Celtics past Heat
BOSTON (AP) — Kyrie Irving moved closer to some elite Boston Celtics company with his latest double-double. It was his three driving baskets, though, that helped seal the victory.
Irving had 26 points and 10 assists, Al Horford added 16 points and 12 rebounds and the Celtics beat the Miami Heat 107-99 Monday night for their fourth straight win.
Irving has had 20 or more points and 10 or more assists in 10 games. Hall of Famer Larry Bird accomplished the feat 11 times in 1986-87.

DETROIT (AP) — Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond is in concussion protocol a day after taking a shot on his nose.
Drummond was out of the lineup Saturday night against the Sacramento Kings.
He left in the first quarter of Friday night's win over the Miami Heat with what the team called a nasal injury. Drummond was hit in the face by the arm of Miami's James Johnson and it did not appear to be intentional blow.

BIRMINGHAM, Michigan (AP) — The Miami Heat have fined Dion Waiters an undisclosed amount for his expletive-laden comments about playing time earlier this week.
Waiters made the comments to reporters from two South Florida newspapers after Miami's lopsided loss in Milwaukee on Tuesday night. The Heat were off Wednesday and announced the fine Thursday.
"We fined him and we addressed it as a team," Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said.

MILWAUKEE (AP) — Held well below his season scoring average, Giannis Antetokounmpo found other ways to help the Milwaukee Bucks win.
Antetokounmpo had 12 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in his fourth triple-double of the season, and the Bucks cruised past the Miami Heat 124-86 on Tuesday night.
Antetokounmpo, who averages nearly 27 points, took just nine shots as the Bucks benefited from having seven players score in double figures.

CHICAGO (AP) — One of two brothers charged in the Chicago fatal shooting of Miami Heat star Dwayne Wade's cousin has pleaded guilty to murder.
The Chicago Sun-Times reports Derren Sorrells entered the plea Tuesday to a first-degree murder charge in the 2016 shooting of 32-year-old Nykea Aldridge.

MIAMI (AP) — A pair of misdemeanor charges against a fan who ran onto the court in the final moments of a Miami Heat game have been dropped, though he has been ordered to stay away from the team's arena.
Court records show Marsel Imer, 19, was facing one charge each of disorderly conduct and trespassing. Imer ran onto the court after a made free throw by Denver's Jamal Murray with 0.9 seconds remaining in Miami's game Tuesday night, and was quickly apprehended by police and arena security.

MIAMI (AP) — Nikola Jokic had 29 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists for his fourth triple-double of the season, and his basket with 2.4 seconds left put the Western Conference-leading Denver Nuggets ahead to stay in their 103-99 win over the Miami Heat on Tuesday night.
