Boseman, Haddish, Gerwig, Nanjiani among Oscars presenters

Producers of next month's telecast announced the show's first round of presenters on Friday.
LOS ANGELES (AP) — With the dust still settling from the envelope snafu at the Academy Awards, it might seem early to be talking about next year's ceremony, but producer Jennifer Todd is already thinking up ambitious plans for the sets and the clips to celebrate the 90th Oscars ceremony — and host Jimmy Kimmel's likely "field day" with jokes about the flub come showtime.
Jimmy Kimmel will host the Oscars in 2018.
The 49-year-old talk show host took the reigns for the glitzy award ceremony earlier this year, and Academy president Cheryl Boone Isaacs loved his performance so much she's hired him to reprise his role next year for the 90th Academy Awards.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Despite his jokes that he'll never get asked back after the historic envelope flub at this year's Academy Awards, Jimmy Kimmel is set to host the Oscars once more. Producers can’t keep politics from edging into Oscar show
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (AP) — Meryl Streep ushered politics into Hollywood's awards season when she used her Golden Globes acceptance speech to condemn President Donald Trump for what she called his "instinct to humiliate." Stars were even more outspoken at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, held just days after Trump's travel ban caused havoc at airports across the country. Even last week's performance-heavy Grammy Awards had a political edge when members of A Tribe Called Quest raised their fists and Q-Tip repeated a call to "Resist."
The Oscars finally have producers, host remains undecided
NEW YORK (AP) — The Oscars finally have their producers: Michael De Luca and Jennifer Todd will produce the 89th Academy Awards.
