GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Arizona has placed center Brad Richardson on injured reserve with an upper-body injury, running the Coyotes' list of missing regulars to six.
Richardson was injured in Arizona's 4-3 overtime victory over Vancouver on Thursday and the Coyotes said he is week to week.
He joins goalie Antti Raanta, forwards Nick Schmaltz, Michael Grabner, Christian Fischer and defenseman Jason Demers out with injuries.
Kuemper, Coyotes hold on for 2-1 win over Predators
GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Darcy Kuemper might not have imagined that by the end of Thursday night, he'd have played in as many games as the goalie he backs up, the injured Antti Raanta.
Kuemper had a career-high 44 saves in his sixth straight game in net, and the Arizona Coyotes held off the Western Conference-leading Nashville Predators 2-1.
Kuemper kept a shutout going until Nick Bonino scored with 7:51 to play.
Grabner scores in OT to give Coyotes 5th straight win
GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Facing a Carolina Hurricanes team that leads the league in shots per game, the Arizona Coyotes needed every one of goalie Antti Raanta's career high 48 saves. They also needed overtime after giving up a three-goal lead.
Michael Grabner scored 1:17 into the extra period to lift the Coyotes to their fifth straight win, 4-3 over the Hurricanes on Friday night.
Grabner helps Coyotes beat the Lightning 7-1
GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Celebrating several of their season-high seven goals to the strains of "Werewolves of London," Arizona took a bite out of Tampa Bay in a 7-1 victory Saturday.
And a Coyotes' team that was shut out in three of its first four games has gravitated to the other extreme, scoring 22 goals in the last five games while winning three in a row and four of five to reach .500 of the first time this season.

Coyotes sign Dvorak to 6-year contract extension
GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — The Arizona Coyotes have signed center Christian Dvorak to a six-year contract extension averaging $4.45 million per year.
The deal, announced Thursday, will keep Dvorak in Arizona through 2024-25.
The 22-year-old Dvorak was Arizona's third-leading goal scorer with 15 last season and fifth in points with 37. He has 30 goals and 40 assists in 156 career games with the Coyotes.
Coyotes sign Ekman-Larsson to 8-year extension
GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — The Arizona Coyotes have undergone massive changes in recent years, parting ways with key players while overhauling their roster.
Defenseman Oliver Ekman Larsson has been the one constant and he's going to be in the desert a long time.
The Coyotes signed the two-time All-Star defenseman to an eight-year contract extension on Sunday that averages $8.25 million per year.
The contract comes on the heels of a six-year, $33 million contract Ekman-Larsson signed in 2013.
Schneider starts in goal for Devils, Johansson back
NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — Cory Schneider is replacing Keith Kinkaid in goal for the New Jersey Devils in Game 3 of their first-round playoff series against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Coach John Hynes decided to make the move with New Jersey trailing 2-0 in the best-of-7 series.
Monday night's game will mark the return of forward Marcus Johansson to the lineup. He has been sidelined since late January with a concussion.
Three days after returning from a concussion suffered in a similar situation, Penguins goalie Matt Murray took a shot off the mask during Friday night's 4-3 overtime loss to the New Jersey Devils.
He reported no problems after Saturday afternoon's practice in Cranberry.
"I felt fine," Murray said. "The helmets are designed so that it's supposed to skim off of it rather than hit you dead center. That's what happened when I got hurt. It got me so dead center that I kind of took all the force.
Kinkaid stops 38 shots as Devils beat Kings 3-0
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Keith Kinkaid has always performed well against the Los Angeles Kings.
Entering the crux of a six-game road trip crucial to the New Jersey's playoff hopes, the Devils' goalie tormented the Kings once again.
Kinkaid stopped 38 saves for his first shutout of the season, helping the Devils improve their playoff positioning with a 3-0 win over the Kings on Saturday.
Coleman scores 2, Devils beat Golden Knights 8-3
LAS VEGAS (AP) — The New Jersey Devils are fighting for their playoff lives.
And they're certainly playing like it.
Blake Coleman scored twice, Michael Grabner and Nico Hischier each had a goal and an assist, and New Jersey routed the Vegas Golden Knights 8-3 on Wednesday night.
After opening a six-game road trip with a victory over Western Conference-leading Nashville on Saturday, the Devils handed Vegas, the second-best team in the West, its worst home loss of the season.
Devils acquire Grabner from Rangers in rivals’ first trade
NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — The New Jersey Devils have acquired speedy winger Michael Grabner from the New York Rangers in the first trade between the cross-river rivals.
New Jersey sends a 2018 second-round draft pick and 20-year-old defensive prospect Yegor Rykov to New York. The teams announced the deal Thursday night after the Devils lost to the Minnesota Wild at home and the Rangers lost to the Montreal Canadiens on the road.
Ducks score 4 in 1st period, go on to 6-3 win over Rangers
ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) — The Anaheim Ducks weren't ecstatic with they way they played, but it was good enough to get a win.
Andrew Cogliano and Adam Henrique capped Anaheim's four-goal first period and the Ducks went on to a 6-3 victory over the struggling New York Rangers on Tuesday night.
Ryan Getzlaf had a goal and an assist, Corey Perry added a goal and an assist, and Rickard Rakell and J.T. Brown also scored to help Anaheim win for the fourth time in six games. John Gibson stopped 41 shots.
Rangers rout Flyers behind Nash’s 2 goals
NEW YORK (AP) — Henrik Lundqvist and Brady Skjei sat inside the Rangers' dressing room after shellacking the Flyers, and surprisingly enough, their conversation was all about defense.
Even after Rick Nash scored twice in New York's 5-1 win over Philadelphia, the Rangers were most pleased by what happened in their own end.

WASHINGTON (AP) — John Carlson scored the winner in overtime and the Washington Capitals came back to beat the Arizona Coyotes 3-2 on Monday night for their first three-game winning streak of the season.
Carlson scored with 45.4 seconds left on the clock in OT, his first goal in 16 games, after T.J. Oshie whiffed on his shot attempt. Devante Smith-Pelly and Alex Ovechkin scored in regulation for Washington, which got 24 saves from Braden Holtby.

NEW YORK (AP) — Given three power-play chances in the third period, the New York Rangers converted them all in a comeback victory over Columbus.
