Running game will be difference for Georgia win over Tide
ATLANTA (AP) — To win national championships the old-school, SEC way, you must have a smothering defense packed with big plays and a strong kicking game.
Most importantly, you must run the ball.
Then run it some more.
Georgia's running game is deeper and better than Alabama's, by only a slight margin. That'll be the difference in Monday night's national championship game.
Legendary professional wrestler Ric Flair has revealed that he is rooting for the University of Georgia in the College Football Championship Game.
In a YouTube video, the iconic "Nature Boy" informed his followers that he expects the Georgia Bulldogs to "whoop" the Alabama Crimson Tide when the two SEC teams meet on the gridiron in Atlanta on Monday.

No. 3 Georgia thumps rival Florida 42-7 in ‘Cocktail Party’
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Sony Michel slipped through the line untouched, sprinted past several defenders and then spun into the end zone.
The rout was on, and the losing streak was essentially over.
Michel put third-ranked Georgia up big early and put Florida away late, scoring on two long runs in a 42-7 drubbing Saturday that might have been the final game for Gators coach Jim McElwain. It was Florida's most lopsided loss in the series since a 44-0 shutout in 1982.
HOOVER, Ala. — Sony Michel speaks in verses. Nick Chubb, his roommate, prefers not speaking much at all.
"How much do you pay attention to other running backs in the league?" Chubb was asked on Day 2 of SEC Media Days.
"Not at all," the running back answered.
A follow-up question: "Are you OK with all this, being here?"
"Yeah. It’s senior year, so I’m trying to be open to a lot of new things."

There were too many frowns for the coach along the way.

ATHENS, Ga. (AP) — Nick Chubb had decided to leave Georgia and apply for early entry to the NFL draft.
Despite a devastating knee surgery as a sophomore, Chubb bounced back strong with a mostly injury-free season and figured his resume was strong enough to warrant maybe a second-round pick.
