Oklahoma gets past Northwestern 76-69 in OT
EVANSTON, Ill. (AP) — Kristian Doolittle scored three straight key baskets late in overtime, and Oklahoma defeated Northwestern 76-69 on Friday night for its seventh straight win.
Doolittle, who finished with a team-leading 14 points, connected on layups 50 seconds apart, then added a close-in jumper with 19 seconds left in overtime to make it 74-69. Miles Reynolds sealed it with layup with three seconds remaining.
Manek scores 18, helps Oklahoma hold off Creighton 83-70
NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — Oklahoma's quality depth overwhelmed Creighton.
Brady Manek matched a season-high with 18 points, and the Sooners defeated the Bluejays 83-70 on Tuesday night.
It was a typical balanced effort for the Sooners. Christian James had his fourth straight double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds, Kristian Doolittle and Rashard Odomes registered season highs with 13 points apiece and Miles Reynolds also scored 13 for the Sooners (10-1).
Reynolds, Oklahoma stifle USC in 81-70 win
TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Miles Reynolds scored a season-high 20 points, Christian James added 16 points and 15 rebounds and Oklahoma maintained its stifling defense in an 81-70 victory over Southern California on Saturday night.
Oklahoma (9-1) held the Trojans to 34.8 percent shooting (23 of 66) and forced 18 turnovers.
Reynolds, a graduate transfer from Pacific, has scored 14 or more in four of the last five games after not exceeding 12 in the first five.
James has 14 points, 13 rebounds; Oklahoma tops Wichita St.
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Oklahoma's defense suffocated Wichita State in an 80-48 win on Saturday at Chesapeake Energy Arena.
The Sooners held the Shockers to 6-for-30 shooting in the second half. Overall, Wichita State shot just 24.2 percent — the fourth-lowest field goal percentage by an Oklahoma opponent during the Lon Kruger coaching era started in 2011.
McNeace leads Oklahoma past North Texas 73-57
NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — Oklahoma has embraced its post-Trae Young identity, and it helped the Sooners win again.
Jamuni McNeace had 16 points and 10 rebounds and headed a strong defensive effort to help Oklahoma defeat North Texas 73-57 on Tuesday night.
Miles Reynolds scored 17 points and Brady Manek added 10 points and eight rebounds for the Sooners (6-1), who held North Texas to 27.5 percent shooting. It was the third time in four games that the Sooners held an opponent to 60 points or fewer.
Manek scores 18, leads Oklahoma past Wofford 75-64
NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — Last season, Trae Young's greatness overshadowed Brady Manek's strong freshman year.
With Young now in the NBA, Manek is breaking out. He had 18 points and 11 rebounds to help Oklahoma defeat Wofford 75-64 in its home opener on Sunday afternoon.
Manek grabbed double-digit rebounds for the third straight game. The sophomore forward had 11 points and five rebounds in the second half and helped establish an aggressive mentality.
LAS VEGAS (AP) — Frankie Ferrari hit big shots down the stretch and finished with 17 points and eight assists to help No. 5 seed San Francisco hold off sixth-seeded Pacific 71-70 in overtime in a quarterfinal of the West Coast Conference Tournament on Saturday.
Feagin, Caruso help Santa Clara beat Pacific 72-68
STOCKTON, Calif. (AP) — KJ Feagin and Henry Caruso scored 18 points apiece and Emmanuel Ndumanya had 15 points and nine rebounds to help Santa Clara beat Pacific 72-68 on Saturday night.
Feagin was 7-of-13 shooting and had five assists, while Caruso hit 2 of 3 from 3-point range, made all eight of his free-throw attempts and grabbed eight rebounds.
Gallinat, Tripp lead Pacific over San Diego 67-55
SAN DIEGO (AP) — Roberto Gallinat scored 21 points, including eight in the final two minutes, and Jahlil Tripp added a double-double to lead Pacific over San Diego 67-55 on Thursday night.
A 7-0 run got San Diego within five, but Gallinat responded with a jumper then 6 of 10 Pacific free throws to secure the win.
Tripp scored 17 points with 11 rebounds and Miles Reynolds added 13 points for the Tigers (14-14, 9-6 West Coast Conference), who have won four of their last five.
Reynolds hits late jumper; Pacific beats Portland 60-58
STOCKTON, Calif. (AP) — Miles Reynolds scored 25 points and hit the game-winning jump shot with 3.5 seconds remaining to lift Pacific over Portland 60-58 on Saturday night.
Pacific (13-14, 8-6 West Coast Conference) rebounded from a 10-point loss to No. 12 Gonzaga on Thursday and has won three of its last four games. Portland (10-17, 4-10) has lost two straight.
Gonzaga-Pacific key matchup: Tigers’ Miles Reynolds has been on hot streak
Junior guard Miles Reynolds has been Pacific’s hottest player. The 6-foot-2, 170-pounder from Chicago averages 13 points per game, but he’s bumped his average to a team-best 14.3 in WCC games.
Reynolds managed just seven points and four assists in Gonzaga’s 81-48 win in late December, but he wasn’t alone. The Tigers didn’t have a player reach double figures.

Bryant nearly perfect as BYU beats Pacific 80-65
PROVO, Utah (AP) — Elijah Bryant had 28 points on a nearly perfect shooting night on Saturday and BYU pulled away late to beat Pacific 80-65.
Bryant was 8 of 9 from both the field and the foul line, including hitting all four of his 3-point attempts, and grabbed seven rebounds for the Cougars (18-5, 7-3 West Coast Conference). BYU solidified its hold on third place in conference standings.
Ferrari has 18 as San Francisco holds on to beat Pacific
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Frankie Ferrari had 18 points and Souley Boum added 13 as San Francisco roared out to an early lead and held on to beat Pacific 69-67 on Thursday night.
San Francisco (12-10, 4-5 West Coast Conference) will be at No. 15 Gonzaga on Saturday.
Gallinat scores 24 points, Pacific beats Pepperdine 92-78
STOCKTON, Calif. (AP) — Roberto Gallinat scored 12 of his 24 points in the final four minutes and Pacific beat Pepperdine 92-78 on Thursday night.
The Tigers (10-10, 5-2 West Coast Conference) have won four consecutive games while Pepperdine (3-16, 0-7) has lost 10 straight.
Gallinat made four 3-pointers and 8 of 9 free throws. Jahlil Tripp added 21 points, and Jack Williams and Miles Reynolds chipped in 12 apiece.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Roberto Gallinat scored 18 points to lead four players in double figures and Pacific rolled to a 66-54 victory over Portland on Saturday night.
Miles Reynolds and Anthony Townes added 12 points apiece for the Tigers (9-10, 4-2 West Coast Conference), while Jack Williams scored 10 and Jahlil Tripp contributed eight rebounds and six assists.

STOCKTON, Calif. (AP) — Jahlil Tripp scored 22 points on 8-of-13 shooting and Pacific survived for a 67-66 win over BYU on Saturday night.
Tripp's jumper with 2:55 left gave the Tigers (7-10, 2-2 West Coast Conference) the lead for good at 62-61 and Pacific made 5 of 8 free throws from there to hold on.

STOCKTON, Calif. (AP) — Jahil Tripp had nine points, nine rebounds and a career-best 11 assists and five other players scored in double figures to help Pacific beat Canisius 80-58 on Sunday in the Men Against Breast Cancer Showcase.

STOCKTON, Calif. (AP) — Miles Reynolds scored 20 points and Jack Williams scored 15 points with 12 rebounds and Pacific beat winless Arkansas-Pine Bluff 78-69 in a Men Against Breast Cancer Showcase game Friday night.
Jahlil Tripp also grabbed 12 rebounds for Pacific (2-3), and the Tigers had a 50-29 rebounding edge with 17 coming off the offensive end.
Humphrey scores 26 with 18 rebounds; Stanford beats Pacific
STANFORD, Calif. (AP) — Michael Humphrey wasn't close to scoring in the first game of the season. He came back in the second game with a chip on his shoulder.
Humphrey scored 26 points and grabbed 18 rebounds to help Stanford beat Pacific 89-80 on Sunday night.
"Those were two totally different games," Humphrey said. "I had to play harder and I have to keep playing well."
