2 more bodies found after Mexico mining accident
MEXICO CITY (AP) — Authorities in the Mexican border state of Chihuahua say two more bodies have been recovered following the rupture of a dam holding mineral tailings at a gold and silver mine.
State officials said in a statement Wednesday that the two mine workers were identified by relatives. A previously found body was still unidentified. Seven workers had been reported as missing and authorities say the search will continue.

4 workers killed in mining accident in Mexico
MEXICO CITY (AP) — Officials in the northern Mexico state of Coahuila say that four workers have died at a Canadian-owned silver mine.
La Encantada mine is located near the Texas border, about 430 miles (700 kilometers) northeast of Torreon in the Muzquiz municipality. It's owned by Vancouver-based First Majestic Silver Corp. The company did not respond to a request for comment.
Authorities: 6 dead in Colombia mining accident
BOGOTA, Colombia (AP) — Six people have been killed in a mining accident in northern Colombia.
Authorities said Saturday rescuers had recovered the remains of all those killed at the Los Morochos mine in Buritica, about 60 miles (96 kilometers) north of Medellin.
No details on the cause of the incident have been released.

A statement from the West Virginia-based Seneca Coal Resources says a rail-hauling accident happened Monday night at the company's Oak Grove Mine in western Jefferson County.
The county coroner's office identifies the dead person as 32-year-old Marius Shepherd of Jasper. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.
