British radio presenter killed in Lebanon
BEIRUT (AP) — A well-known British radio presenter who had been living in Lebanon for years was found dead in his apartment in a mountain town near Beirut on Tuesday after being apparently murdered, Lebanese officials said.
Gavin Ford's death led to an outpouring of shock and sadness on social media by people who followed his popular morning program on all-music Radio One station. The 65-year-old Ford had worked for the station since the 1990s, gaining a large number of fans in Lebanon.
New radio show begins in Kansas
WICHITA, Kan. (AP) — A new comedy and music radio program is beginning this weekend in Kansas.
Kansas Radio Theatre will air on more than 10 radio stations across the state, from Goodland to Salina to Wichita, The Wichita Eagle reported .
The hour-long show includes family-friendly skits, music, and a variety of local and national talent.

Rosalie Heller, 1931-2016: Santa Fe Living Treasure had passion for music, love for Los Alamos
Rosalie Heller, a classical pianist who served as artistic director of the Los Alamos Concert Association, hosted a weekly classical music radio show and was named a Santa Fe Living Treasure in 1989, died Friday at her home in Los Alamos of natural causes, the family said. She was 85.
