Emmanuel Toney was 3 of 5 from long range to total 10 points for Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (5-5), which halted a three-game skid.

EDINBURG, Texas (AP) — Graduate student Solomon Hainna scored a career-high 14 points, Greg Bowie II added 10 and Texas Rio Grande Valley beat Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 68-59 on Monday night.
Tyson Smith finished with nine points and a career-high tying two blocks for UTRGV (5-3), which plays at Houston on Wednesday. Terry Winn III scored eight points with seven rebounds and four assists, and Javon Levi had points and six assists.
South hits key 3, Texas A&M CC tops St. Mary’s (Texas) 61-58
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (AP) — Kareem South led Texas A&M Corpus Christi with 15 points and his 3-pointer deep into the second half lifted the Islanders into the lead for good en route to a 61-58 win over Division II St. Mary's on Wednesday night.
South shot 5 of 9 from the field and made both his attempts from behind the 3-point arc. His trey with 8:24 left in the game boosted Texas A&M CC (4-2) into a 50-48 lead. The Islanders had trailed for more than 20 minutes spanning both halves.
Schneider’s late 3 helps UC Davis beat Texas A&M-CC in OT

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Myles Smith scored 21 points and Tony Lewis added 18 as Texas A&M Corpus Christi rallied in the final five minutes to defeat UT Arlington 73-67 Friday night, handing Mavericks coach Chris Ogden his first loss.
UT Arlington (2-1) raced to a 39-30 halftime lead, shooting 50 percent from the floor and making five 3-pointers for Ogden, a first-year coach.
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (AP) — Joseph Kilgore scored 23 points, Kareem South added 18 with three 3-pointers, and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi beat McNeese 82-70 on Wednesday night to knock the Cowboys from Southland Conference Tournament contention.
Islanders beat Abilene Christian in game postponed a day
ABILENE, Texas (AP) — Joseph Kilgore scored 24 points and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi defeated Abilene Christian 76-67 on Thursday night.
The game was originally to be played Wednesday but was postponed because of icy road conditions.
Myles Smith added 13 points, Kareem South 12 and Elijah Schmidt had 11 points with nine rebounds.
Garth scores 22, Lamar beats Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 79-76
BEAUMONT, Texas (AP) — Nick Garth scored 22 points and Colton Weisbrod had 14 points and eight rebounds to help Lamar beat Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 79-76 on Saturday.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (AP) — Tre Gray scored 20 points with five 3-pointers and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi never trailed in its 80-66 win over Abilene Christian on Wednesday night to end a three-game skid.
Myles Smith added 15 points and Joseph Kilgore had 13 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists, and the Islanders (5-12, 2-5 Southland Conference) made 11 3-pointers and shot 51.1 percent from the field.
Smith hits winner, Texas A&M-CC clips Northwestern St 67-65
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (AP) — Myles Smith scored the game-winner on a jump shot from 12 feet with less than a second on the clock, but Texas A&M-Corpus Christi still had to survive a full-court pass and a twisting scoop shot by Northwestern State for the 67-65 win Wednesday night.
Sean Rhea scored a career-best 17 points with eight rebounds for Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (4-9, 1-2 Southland Conference) and the last-second winner put Smith at seven points for the game. Tre Gray added 10.
Georgia holds off Texas A&M-Corpus Christi for 68-65 win
ATHENS, Ga. (AP) — Yante Maten scored 19 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead Georgia to a 68-65 win over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Sunday afternoon.
Georgia (3-0) scored the first 11 points of the game and led by as much as 19 points, but Texas A&M-Corpus Christi rallied in the second half. The Islanders never led, but tied the game three times, the last at 53-all with 5:25 to go after a pair of free throws by Kareem South.
Smith hits last second jumper, Texas A&M-CC gets 69-68 win
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (AP) — Myles Smith hit a jump shot as time expired to give Texas A&M-Corpus Christi a 69-68 victory over NAIA Our Lady of the Lake on Friday night.
Courtney Julien nailed a 3-pointer with :04 remaining to give the Saints a 68-67 lead. The Islanders called timeout and set up Smith's winning jumper.
Our Lady of the Lake led 29-28 at the break, but the Islanders took the second half 41-39 for the win.
