MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — West Virginia quarterback Will Grier won't play for the 15th-ranked Mountaineers in the Camping World Bowl against No. 17 Syracuse, instead focusing on preparation for the NFL draft.

Arizona State’s N’Keal Harry to skip Las Vegas Bowl
TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — Arizona State receiver N'Keal Harry will skip the Las Vegas Bowl to prepare for the NFL draft.
Sun Devils coach Herm Edwards issued a statement Monday saying the decision was made after Harry met with the coaching and administrative staffs.
Harry announced last month he is skipping his senior season to enter the draft, where he's expected to be a first-round draft pick.

TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — Arizona State receiver N'Keal Harry will skip his senior season to enter the NFL draft.
Harry made the announcement Monday with coach Herm Edwards at his side.
Harry is third in Arizona State history with 213 career receptions and 2,889 yards, needing 50 yards in the Sun Devils' bowl game to take over second. He averages 5.76 receptions per game, third among the NCAA active career leaders.

Wilkins, Harry lead Sun Devils past No. 16 Utah 38-20
TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — Arizona State's Manny Wilkins, N'Keal Harry and Eno Benjamin shredded the No. 1-ranked defense in the Pac-12 and in the process threw the Pac-12 South race into a free-for-all.
On an awful Saturday afternoon in the desert, No. 16 Utah lost sole possession of first place in the Pac-12 South and, worse yet, lost starting quarterback Tyler Huntley with a broken collarbone.
Harry’s punt return TD pulls Arizona State past USC 38-35
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Arizona State wide receiver N'Keal Harry still has work to do deciding when to catch a punt, when to signal for a fair catch and when to let the ball bounce.
Fortunately for the Sun Devils, it is a correction Harry won't make until next week.
Harry scored on a 92-yard punt return and Arizona State defeated Southern California 38-35 on Saturday.
Arizona State opens Herm Edwards era with 49-7 rout of UTSA
TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — Herm Edwards was a big winner in his return to the sidelines as head coach at Arizona State.
And he wasn't at all satisfied.
Manny Wilkins threw for four touchdowns, two to N'Keal Harry, and Arizona State routed UTSA 49-7 on Saturday night.
"It was sloppy," Edwards said. "... I didn't like I what I was watching a lot of times. The big plays are one thing but you play against good football teams you want to have sustained drives."
Pac-12 football players poised to break out in the fall
Some of the Pac-12 Conference players who could have breakout seasons and be impact players in 2018:
QB Khalil Tate, junior. Tate already had a breakout season in 2017, accounting for nearly 1,600 yards passing, 1,400 more rushing and 26 TDs despite starting the season as a backup. He has a new coach in Mike Sumlin and a new position coach in Noel Mazzone, who has a reputation for turning good quarterbacks into great ones.
Wilkins, Sun Devils pull away for 44-13 win over NU
TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — Arizona State and its new quarterback turned an uncomfortably close game into a fourth-quarter blowout.
Manny Wilkins passed for 180 yards, ran for 89 and a touchdown and even hurdled a would-be tackler in his first college start and the Sun Devils pulled away for a 44-13 victory over FCS foe Northern Arizona on Saturday night.
Arizona State led just 10-6 before scoring on its final seven possessions.
