Nakye Sanders had 17 points and 10 rebounds for Towson (10-17, 6-8 Colonial Athletic Association).
Towson dominated the first half and led 46-19 at the break. The Dragons' 19 first-half points marked a season low for the team.

TOWSON, Md. (AP) — Brian Fobbs had 29 points as Towson beat James Madison 66-59 on Saturday.
Nakye Sanders had eight rebounds for Towson (9-16, 5-7 Colonial Athletic Conference). Dennis Tunstall added seven rebounds.
Stuckey Mosley had 14 points for the Dukes (10-15, 3-9). Matt Lewis added 13 points. Darius Banks had 11 points.

Tobias Howard had 11 points and Jordan McNeil and Nakye Sanders split 20 for the Tigers (4-7), who led 31-29 at the half.
Pepperdine beats Towson behind 23 points from Ross
NASSAU, Bahamas (AP) — Colbey Ross scored 23 points, Kameron Edwards added 16 and Pepperdine beat Towson 74-65 Friday night in the first round of the Island of the Bahamas Showcase.
Eric Cooper Jr. scored 13 points for the Waves (2-1), who shot 45 percent from the field to the Tigers' 39 percent and made 20 of 21 free throws.
Pepperdine advances to face Georgia Southern on Saturday night.
Cavanaugh leads George Washington over Duquesne
PITTSBURGH (AP) — Tyler Cavanaugh scored 19 points, making 13 of 14 free throws, and George Washington defeated Duquesne 77-70 on Sunday.
While Duquesne was outscoring the Colonials in the paint, 40-18, George Washington (14-13, 6-8 Atlantic 10) was making 12 of 26 3-pointers to 4 of 13 for the Dukes. Yuta Watanabe scored 14 points and Jair Bolden and Patrick Steeves 11 each for George Washington. Cavanaugh had a team-high seven rebounds as part of 37-34 rebounding edge.
