Shaq Buchanan had 16 points for Murray State (21-4, 12-2 Ohio Valley Conference), which earned its fifth consecutive win. Darnell Cowart added 14 points. Tevin Brown had 14 points for the visitors.
Murray State is undefeated (4-0) when scoring at least 100 points this season.
Baker, Harris help Morehead St. beat E. Kentucky 78-72
MOREHEAD, Ky. (AP) — James Baker and Lamontray Harris each had a double-double as Morehead State topped Eastern Kentucky 78-72 on Thursday night.

Mayo hits 2,000-point milestone in Eastern Kentucky’s win
RICHMOND, Ky. (AP) — It took just 65 seconds for Nick Mayo to go where no Eastern Kentucky Colonel had gone before him and JacQuess Hobbs made sure it came with a victory attached to it.
Mayo sank a 3-pointer on his first shot of the game to become the first Colonel to reach 2,000 career points, and Hobbs dribbled the length of the court and hit a 5-foot floater as time expired to left Eastern Kentucky to an 85-83 win over Southeast Missouri State on Saturday night.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Kevin McClain scored a career-high 28 points and added six assists as Belmont defeated Eastern Kentucky 109-93 on Saturday.
The 109 points were a school record for a regulation game in the program's NCAA Division I era. The Bruins' 64 first-half points tied their best effort in a half at the Curb Event Center.

RICHMOND, Ky. (AP) — Jalen Henry scored a career-high 35 points on 13-of-18 shooting and SIU-Edwardsville ended a three-game skid and beat Eastern Kentucky 85-82 Thursday night.
HUNTINGTON -- Jon Elmore and C.J. Burks scored 26 and 25 respectively for the Marshall Thundering Herd in a 91-71 men's basketball victory against Eastern Kentucky University in Cam Henderson Center.
Marshall (9-4) jumped to an 8-0 lead, was ahead 48-32 at halftime and stretched its advantage to 30 points midway through the second half.
Herd forward Ajdin Penava had 13 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists, nine blocked shots and two steals.
E. Kentucky uses balanced attack to dump Norfolk St. 83-66
RICHMOND, Ky. (AP) — Jackson Davis scored 15 points and Nick Mayo had 14 points and Eastern Kentucky downed Norfolk State 83-66 on Monday night for its second consecutive win.
Mayo scored the Colonels' first six points, and his third jump shot gave Eastern Kentucky a 6-5 lead it never gave up. EKU then went on a 17-7 run with Dujuanta Weaver, Peyton Broughton and Dillon Avare each burying 3-pointers.
Thompson scores 26, Oregon State tops Eastern Kentucky 74-62
CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) — With Oregon State's star big man saddled with foul trouble early in the second half, Stephen Thompson Jr. said his team felt a sense of urgency.
"Everybody did a good job of stepping up. . I think it was a team effort," Thompson said.
Thompson had 26 points, making four 3-pointers, and six assists to lead Oregon State to a 74-62 win over Eastern Kentucky on Tuesday night.

Broughton sparks Eastern Kentucky to a 99-71 win over Asbury
RICHMOND, Ky. (AP) — Peyton Broughton scored 21 points and Eastern Kentucky kicked it into gear in the second half of its 99-71 win over NAIA-neighbor Asbury University on Saturday.
The Eagles, from Wilmore, Kentucky, hung tough through the first half, trailing by just six points at intermission. The Colonels opened the second half with an 11-3 run and never looked back.

RICHMOND, Ky. (AP) — Reserves DeAndre Dishman and Dedric Boyd scored 18 points apiece and Eastern Kentucky dominated the second half to beat Division II Kentucky State 97-66 on Thursday night.
The Thorobreds jumped out to a 7-0 lead and didn't trail in the first half until A.J. Youngman buried a 3-pointer with 14 seconds left to give Eastern Kentucky a 35-34 lead. Kevin Hayes answered with a tip-in at the buzzer and Kentucky State had a one-point lead at halftime.
Burnett, Davis lead Ole Miss past Eastern Kentucky 85-75
OXFORD, Miss. (AP) — Deandre Burnett scored 17 points, 12 in the second half Monday and Mississippi placed four players in double figures to defeat Eastern Kentucky 85-75.
Terence Davis scored 16 points with six rebounds for the Rebels (2-0) who led by as many as 19 points, 80-61, on a layup by Davis with 4:46 left.
Ole Miss had second half runs of 7-0 and 12-3 to keep the Colonels at a safe distance.
Freshman Boyd hits late FTs, EKU beats Rice 73-72
HOUSTON (AP) — Freshman Dedric Boyd sank three free throws with five seconds left to help Eastern Kentucky beat Rice 73-72 on Friday night in a season opener.
Trailing 72-70, Boyd got his defender in the air and drew a foul while shooting behind the 3-point line. He buried all three free throws to give the Colonels their first lead of the game.
