ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — Keith McGee scored a career-high 20 points for New Mexico, which sandwiched a 28-4 run around halftime Wednesday to a turn a close game with San Jose State into a 92-60 rout.
Three other players reached the teens for the Lobos (11-13, 5-7 Mountain West), with Corey Manigault scoring 17.
Noah Baumann scored 10 to lead the Spartans (3-20, 0-11).
The game was tied eight times in the early going, with 12 lead changes before New Mexico took charge.

SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) — Chris Joyce hit a 3-pointer with five seconds left in the second overtime and Air Force pulled out a 73-71 win to keep San Jose State winless in Mountain West Conference action on Saturday night.
Not that the Spartans went easily. Brae Ivey scored at the basket with :20 left in the first overtime to tie the game at 65-65. His 3 with :04 left in regulation tied the game at 56-56.
Brito scores 23, leads Utah State past San Jose State
SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) — Diogo Brito scored 23 points with six assists and five rebounds and Utah State defeated San Jose State 81-63 on Wednesday night.
Brito, a junior from Portugal, averages 5.6 points per game and had a previous career high of 16 points against Weber State last month. Neemias Queta, a freshman from Portugal, added 14 points with nine rebounds for the Aggies (13-5, 3-2 Mountain West).
Krebs hits 6 3s, scores 20; Saint Mary’s beats San Jose St.
MORAGA, Calif. (AP) — Tanner Krebs tied his career high with six 3-pointers and finished with a season-high 20 points to help Saint Mary's beat San Jose State 75-45 on Saturday night.
Krebs, who came in shooting 42 percent from the field and 35 percent from 3-point range this season, was 7-of-12 shooting including 6 of 9 from behind the arc. Jordan Ford added 16 points and Elijah Thomas scored 10 for Saint Mary's (9-6).
McNeill scores 22 points to lead Cal past San Jose St 88-80
BERKELEY, Calif. (AP) — Darius McNeill scored 17 of his 22 points after the break and Cal used a big second half to beat San Jose State 88-80 on Friday night.
McNeill, a sophomore guard, drained four 3-pointers in the second half as the Bears (5-6) rebounded from a 22-point loss at Fresno State three nights earlier. Andre Kelly added 21 points and 10 rebounds for Cal and point guard Paris Austin dished a season-high 11 assists, nine in the 58-point second half.

Steadman’s late scores gives San Jose State 67-65 win
SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) — Michael Steadman drove for a layup and followed with a free throw in the final seconds to give San Jose State a 67-65 win over Bethune-Cookman on Thursday night to halt a six-game losing skid.
The Spartans (2-6) had not won since beating Life Pacific in the opening game of the season.

SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) — Tahj Eaddy set career highs Saturday with six 3-pointers and 23 points and Santa Clara got its first win of the season 71-63 over San Jose State.
The Broncos (1-4) trailed by as many as nine early before taking control with a 15-5 run to end the first half up 38-35. Santa Clara never trailed in the second half.
Logwood sparks New Mexico late in 71-68 victory
SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) — Sam Logwood scored the Lobos' final six points and New Mexico denied San Jose State its first Mountain West Conference win this season, beating the Spartans 71-68 on Saturday.
Logwood's basket with 3:50 to go gave the Lobos the lead for good at 64-62. He added another basket and four more free throws in the final 1:49.
Freshman Turner scores 27, Bowling Green beats SJSU 85-79
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) — Justin Turner made five 3-pointers and scored 27 points, Demajeo Wiggins had 17 points, 12 rebounds and four steals, and Bowling Green beat San Jose State 85-79 on Wednesday night.
Bowling Green made 6 of 8 free throws in the final 28 seconds to seal it. Rodrick Caldwell was 3 of 4 and Turner capped the scoring with two makes in the closing seconds.
Turner, a freshman, scored 20-plus for the third time this season.
