ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) — After playing from behind for much of this season, the Philadelphia Flyers weren't fazed when Anaheim's Pontus Aberg tied Tuesday night's game late in the third period.
Nolan Patrick scored 21 seconds later, and the Flyers beat the Ducks 3-2 to snap a three-game losing streak.
Rantanen scored twice, leads Avalanche past Flyers 4-1
PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Mikko Rantanen had two goals, Matt Nieto and Gabriel Landeskog also scored, and the Colorado Avalanche beat the Philadelphia Flyers 4-1 on Monday night.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Chandler Stephenson, Andre Burakovsky and T.J. Oshie ended lengthy goal droughts to help the Washington Capitals rally past the Philadelphia Flyers 5-3 on Wednesday night.

ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) — Wayne Simmonds ended things quickly in overtime.
Simmonds scored 44 seconds into overtime to give the Philadelphia Flyers a 3-2 victory over the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday night.
The puck ricocheted off Ducks forward Andrew Cogliano skate and directly to the open Simmonds. He quickly gained control and snapped a shot past goalie John Gibson for the Flyers' second victory in three games.
"It's tough playing out west, there's a lot of big bodies," Simmonds said.

Flyers sign Nolan Patrick to entry-level contract.
PHILADELPHIA (AP) — The Flyers have signed first-round pick Nolan Patrick to an entry-level contract.
The 18-year-old center was selected No. 2 overall last month after playing the past three seasons for the Brandon Wheat Kings of the Western Hockey League. Patrick had 56 points (30 goals, 26 assists) in 55 games. He had eight goals and seven assists in 19 playoff games to help Brandon reach the WHL championship game, and was the WHL Rookie of the Year.
Flyers’ Nolan Patrick has second abdominal surgery
Philadelphia Flyers No. 2 overall pick Nolan Patrick had a second abdominal surgery prior to being drafted and is expected to return to full activity in four to six weeks.
General manager Ron Hextall announced the surgery Friday, a week after the Flyers selected Patrick in the draft. Patrick missed three months last season with a similar injury.
