LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) — Ryan Pippins scored 19 points and Oliver Black scored 17 with 11 rebounds and Little Rock snapped a three-game skid and beat Louisiana 72-61 in overtime in the Sun Belt Conference finale for both teams on Saturday.
Louisiana enters next week's conference tournament in New Orleans with a bye as the No. 1 seed and will play the winner of No. 8 Coastal Carolina versus No. 9 Texas State.
No. 12 Little Rock plays a first-round game Wednesday against fifth-seed Appalachian State.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Alex Peacock made his only field goal count, hitting a long, buzzer-beating jumper to lift Texas State to a 72-70 victory over Little Rock on Saturday night.
Peacock's winner came after Little Rock (5-14, 2-4 Sun Belt) tied the game after scoring on Andre Jones' 3-pointer with 14 seconds left and, after a Bobcats turnover, an Oliver Black dunk with five seconds remaining.
Little Rock holds off UL Monroe in 71-62 win
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Ryan Pippins scored 15 points, Camron Reedus added 13 more and Little Rock held off Louisiana-Monroe for a 71-62 win Sunday.
They got help from Oliver Black, who hauled in 12 rebounds, and Ben Marcus had 10 points before fouling out late in the second half. Little Rock (4-11, 1-1 Sun Belt Conference) controlled the glass 35-28 and got 45 points from its bench, with Pippins and Reedus both notching career-high scores.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Anthony Black scored a career-high 19 points with five 3-pointers, Ryan Pippins and Ben Marcus set career highs with 14 points apiece, and Little Rock routed Division III University of the Ozarks 94-49 Monday night to end a four-game skid.
Oliver Black grabbed 11 rebounds for the Trojans (3-9), who outrebounded the Eagles 29-18, outscored them 46-10 in the paint and scored 34 points off 19 turnovers.
Little Rock pulls away from C. Arkansas 71-65
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Andre Jones scored a career-high 24 points and Oliver Black grabbed a career-best 16 rebounds — seven offensive — and Little Rock rallied in the second half to beat Central Arkansas 71-65 Wednesday night.
Little Rock (2-5), which won its second straight, trailed 34-23 at intermission before using an 18-7 run and tied it at 41 with Anthony Black's 3-pointer. Otas Iyekekpolor gave Central Arkansas (4-4) its last lead, 50-49, with a layup.
