DALLAS (AP) — Tyler Seguin provided the game-winning goal in a wild third period that opened with Dallas trailing and having to kill nearly three penalty minutes and ended with the Stars scoring four goals.
Seguin's tie-breaking goal came with 7:32 to play in a 5-4 victory over the Arizona Coyotes on Monday night.
Roope Hintz, John Klingberg, Radek Faksa and Mattias Janmark also scored for the Stars. Ben Bishop made 38 saves as Dallas extended its winning streak to a season-best five games.

Jones scored 18 seconds into overtime and the Blue Jackets defeated the Florida Panthers 4-3 on Saturday night.
Jones' overtime goal was his seventh, the most regular-season overtime goals among defensemen since the 2013-14 season, tying him with Oliver Ekman-Larsson.

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Carey Price stopped 36 shots in his 300th career win, leading the Montreal Canadiens to a 2-1 victory over the slumping Arizona Coyotes on Thursday night.
Paul Byron and Shea Weber scored as Montreal won the second game of a back-to-back for the first time in four tries this season.
Oliver Ekman-Larsson scored for the Coyotes, who have lost seven of eight. Darcy Kuemper stopped 26 shots.

Price stopped 36 shots in his 300th career win, leading the Canadiens to a 2-1 victory over the slumping Arizona Coyotes on Thursday night.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Coyotes captain Oliver Ekman-Larsson made sure Adin Hill took home a souvenir from his first NHL shutout.
Nick Schmaltz had a goal and an assist, Hill made 29 saves and Arizona beat the Nashville Predators 3-0 on Thursday night.
Clayton Keller and Brad Richardson scored the other goals in Arizona's second straight victory. Schmaltz's two points were his first since being acquired Sunday in a trade with the Chicago Blackhawks.
Hinostroza helps Coyotes beat Blackhawks 4-1
CHICAGO (AP) — The handful of former Chicago Blackhawks who play for the Arizona Coyotes were excited to see Corey Crawford back on the ice after an extended absence.
Vinnie Hinostroza and company also enjoyed skipping town with a win.
Hinostroza scored twice against his former team, Antti Raanta made 33 saves and the Coyotes spoiled Crawford's season debut, beating the sleepy Blackhawks 4-1 on Thursday night.
Coyotes sign Dvorak to 6-year contract extension
GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — The Arizona Coyotes have signed center Christian Dvorak to a six-year contract extension averaging $4.45 million per year.
The deal, announced Thursday, will keep Dvorak in Arizona through 2024-25.
The 22-year-old Dvorak was Arizona's third-leading goal scorer with 15 last season and fifth in points with 37. He has 30 goals and 40 assists in 156 career games with the Coyotes.
Ekman-Larsson poised to lead Coyotes into the future
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Arizona defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson knew the desert was where he wanted to stay, yet consulted with former Coyotes captain Shane Doan before signing a long-term extension.
Doan had been in similar situations before, debating whether to stay in the only place he had ever played or head off someplace else for more money or a better chance at winning the Stanley Cup.

Ekman-Larsson scored twice late in the third period, including his 100th career goal, to lead the Coyotes to a 5-2 win over the Calgary Flames on Monday night.
The 26-year-old is just the second Coyotes defenseman to reach the milestone and the 18th player in franchise history to do so.

Raanta had plenty to be happy about. He made 23 saves to help Arizona beat the Ottawa Senators 2-1 Saturday night. He's won five of his last six starts, and the Coyotes — despite the NHL's worst record — completed a seven-game homestand with a 5-2 mark.
Smith’s shootout goal leads Predators over Coyotes 3-2
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Despite missing the first three months of the season, Ryan Ellis looks to be in top form already for the Predators.
Ellis had a goal and an assist in regulation, and Craig Smith scored the deciding goal in the shootout to give Nashville a 3-2 win over the Arizona Coyotes on Thursday night.
Scott Hartnell also scored, and captain Roman Josi added two assists for Nashville, which won its fourth consecutive game.
Lightning’s Ryan Callahan sidelined by upper-body injury
DENVER (AP) — Tampa Bay Lightning forward Ryan Callahan has an upper-body injury that will sideline him at least indefinitely.
The Lightning said Friday that Callahan will be re-evaluated in 3-4 weeks.
Callahan was injured in the third period of Tampa Bay's 4-1 victory in Arizona on Thursday night. He tangled with Oliver Ekman-Larsson and the Arizona player fell and landed on Callahan's right arm. The 32-year-old Callahan has a goal and five assists in 29 games this season.

Oliver Ekman-Larsson had a goal and an assist during Arizona's three-goal third period, Louis Domingue stopped 36 shots and the Coyotes damaged Tampa Bay's playoff hopes with a 5-3 victory Tuesday night.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Washington Capitals center Evgeny Kuznetsov was fined $2,000 by the NHL for diving/embellishment.
The league announced the fine Thursday. Kuznetsov's fine is his first and came after two embellishment incidents this season.
Coyotes rally, beat Oilers 3-2 in shootout
GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — The Arizona Coyotes escaped a loss by less than a tenth of a second, then turned to their go-to guy in the overtime shootout for another win over the Edmonton Oilers.
Radim Vrbata's 43rd career shootout goal and another from Oliver Ekman-Larsson helped give the Arizona Coyotes a 3-2 comeback victory over the Pacific Division leaders Oilers on Friday night.
Vrbata has the all-time NHL record for shootout goals, passing Detroit's Frans Nielsen with Friday's tally.
Coyotes’ Ekman-Larsson fined $2,000 for second diving call
GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — The NHL has fined Arizona Coyotes defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson $2,000 as supplementary punishment for two embellishing calls against him.
The fine was announced on Thursday for Ekman-Larsson's actions in a pair of games the past two weeks.
Coyotes end 5-game road losing streak with 5-4 win at Philly
PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Brayden Schenn and Jakob Chychrun punched each other so much they could have used a bell to stop the fight.
Schenn would have at least settled for a whistle.
With all eyes on the brawl, Martin Hanzal kept his on the puck and slipped it in the net to help the Arizona Coyotes beat the Philadelphia Flyers 5-4 on Thursday night to snap a five-game road losing streak.
Schenn, a Flyers center, had no idea why the refs didn't blow the whistle during the scrum.

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — The Arizona Coyotes spent most of overtime on their heels, chasing pucks and dodging shots. The Coyotes finally cleared the puck after a big save by Mike Smith and had a man advantage on a delayed penalty.
That's when they turned to Oliver Ekman-Larsson, the king of overtime hockey.
