ST. LOUIS (AP) — Connor McDavid hasn't always looked like a natural in shootouts.
The work he's put in showed up Wednesday night.
McDavid scored in the shootout after Oscar Klefbom tied it late in the third period, and the Edmonton Oilers beat the St. Louis Blues 3-2 on Wednesday night.
McDavid improved to 7 for 13 in shootouts for his career. It was his fifth game-deciding shootout goal.

EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) — Oscar Klefbom has gone from a massive drought to pouring in game-winning goals.
The defenseman scored his second straight winner and added an assist as the Edmonton Oilers edged the Los Angeles Kings 3-2 on Thursday night.
Klefbom broke a 2-all tie with 2:20 remaining on his power-play drive from the point. He has scored in back-to-back games after going without a goal since March 4.

EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) — The Edmonton Oilers finally found their scoring touch.
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Connor McDavid each had two goals for the Oilers in their 8-2 victory over the Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday night.
Edmonton entered with the fewest goals in the NHL.
"It is definitely good for the confidence of the group," Nugent-Hopkins said. "We kind of put everything together tonight and things went well for us. We can't get away from that now."

McDavid had three assists and Edmonton beat New Jersey 6-3 on Friday night to hand the Devils their first road loss of the season.
"Tonight was the first time in a while that we had everyone going, and all lines playing well and playing the right way, and we were rewarded," McDavid said. "So it's good to see."

SUNRISE, Fla. (AP) — Kris Russell's goal with 7:58 left was his first in more than a year and lifted the Edmonton Oilers over Florida 4-3 on Wednesday night to snap the Panthers' five-game winning streak.
Russell's goal was his first since Feb. 11, 2016, when he played for Calgary. He went goalless in his first 48 games with the Oilers.

EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) — Mikkel Boedker scored three goals for his fourth career hat trick to lead the San Jose Sharks to a 53 victory over the Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday night.
Brent Burns and Logan Couture also scored for the Sharks, who have won two straight since losing three in a row. Martin Jones stopped 33 shots.
Drake Caggiula, Matthew Benning and Oscar Klefbom scored for the Oilers, losers of two straight. Cam Talbot finished with 23 saves.

EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) — The Edmonton Oilers hope they are finally out of their funk.
Leon Draisaitl scored twice and Cam Talbot made 31 saves for his third shutout of the season, helping Edmonton beat the Western Conference-leading Chicago Blackhawks 5-0 on Monday night.
"They've been playing some good hockey lately so it's not an easy team to shut out by any means," Talbot said. "We played a great team game. That's a huge statement win for us tonight."

LOS ANGELES (AP) — The Los Angeles Kings returned to their hard forechecking ways and got a needed win.
Jeff Carter scored the tiebreaking short-handed goal midway through the second period and the Los Angeles Kings beat the Edmonton Oilers 4-2.
Derek Forbort and Tyler Toffoli each had a goal and an assist and Devin Setoguchi and also scored for Los Angeles. Peter Budaj made 26 saves.
