Colts make trade with Jets, release veteran punter Locke
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The Indianapolis Colts traded long snapper Thomas Hennessy to the New York Jets for safety Ronald Martin and released veteran punter Jeff Locke on Monday.
Hennessy was an undrafted rookie from Duke.
Martin was on the Jets' practice squad each of the past two seasons and played in 11 games. He recorded two tackles.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Indianapolis Colts offensive lineman Joe Reitz has announced his retirement.
The 31-year-old Reitz played nine seasons in the NFL, the last six with his hometown team. He played in 73 games, starting 44 with the Colts at both tackle and guard.
Last season, he started six games on a line that paved the way for Frank Gore to become Indy's first 1,000-yard rusher since 2007.
DELPHI, Ind. (AP) — Former Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee says he and team owner Jim Irsay are nearly doubling the reward for information leading to an arrest in the killing of two northern Indiana girls.
McAfee and Indiana State Police Superintendent Doug Carter appear in a video posted on McAfee's Twitter account Wednesday in which they appealed to the public for tips and said the reward fund was being raised by $97,000, to $200,000.
Colts 2-time Pro Bowl punter announces retirement at age 29

The 29-year-old two-time Pro Bowl pick made the announcement in a statement on Twitter, thanking fans for their support over the last seven seasons.

Indianapolis adds offensive linemen, releases punter
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The Colts have claimed guard Donovan Williams off waivers from Chicago and placed punter Michael Palardy on waivers.
Starting guard Denzelle Good and backup offensive lineman Kevin Graf both were injured in Saturday night's 19-18 victory at Buffalo.
The 6-foot-3, 315-pound Williams signed with Chicago as an undrafted rookie out of Louisiana-Lafayette in May. He was waived by the Bears on Saturday.
