BOSTON (AP) — Bryce Aiken had a career-high 44 points as Harvard narrowly defeated Columbia 98-96 in triple overtime on Friday night.
Aiken made 16 of 18 foul shots.
Justin Bassey had 17 points and 10 rebounds for Harvard (11-7, 4-1 Ivy League), which earned its fifth straight win. Christian Juzang added 14 points. Robert Baker had 6 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks for the home team.
Princeton builds big early lead, wins 55-43
NEW YORK (AP) — Myles Stephens scored 17 points, 10 in the first half when Princeton built a 17-point lead, and the Tigers defeated Columbia 55-43 on Friday night for their sixth straight win.
Columbia shot only 26 percent in the first half and missed on all eight of its 3-point tries in falling behind 34-17, the fewest points given up in a half by the Tigers this season.
Columbia gets first Ivy League win downing Cornell 73-70

NEW YORK (AP) — Quinton Adlesh matched his season high, scoring 20 points in Columbia's 102-63 win over Division III Elmira College on Saturday.
Adlesh was 7 of 11 from the field including four from distance for the Lions (5-9). Patrick Tape added 14 points and 14 rebounds and Jake Killingsworth had 11 points and four assists.
Columbia shot 51.5 percent from the field compared with 35 percent for Elmira and had a 47-28 rebounding advantage.
Stefanini hits runner at buzzer, Columbia edges Binghamton
BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (AP) — Gabe Stefanini hit a game-winning runner as time expired, blunting a Binghamton rally and giving Columbia a 65-63 victory on Wednesday night.
Binghamton's Sam Sessoms tied it at 63 on a 3-pointer with nine seconds left to play. After a Columbia timeout at midcourt with 2.2 seconds left, Randy Brumant dished to Stefanini who sank a runner to give the Lions (4-9) a win and snap a three-game skid.
Columbia holds off Iona 74-71 at Madison Square Garden
NEW YORK (AP) — Jake Killingsworth led a balanced attack with 14 points and Columbia made five free throws in the final 30 seconds to hold off Iona 74-71 on Sunday at Madison Square Garden.
The Lions (3-6), who lasted played at the Garden in 2008 and against the Gaels 26 years ago, made 12 of 13 from the line, going 5 of 6 in the last minute when Iona had two critical turnovers after forcing Columbia into turnovers.
Beard scores 26 points, leads FIU past Columbia 98-87
NEW YORK (AP) — Brian Beard Jr. scored 26 points and tied his career high with 10 assists, Devon Andrews added 17 points with 11 rebounds and Florida International beat Columbia 98-87 on Saturday at the Johnny Bach Classic.
Willy Nunez Jr. scored 15 points, Isaiah Banks had 13, Osasumwen Osaghae 12 and Trejon Jacob 11 for the Golden Panthers (4-1), who shot 49 percent to the Lions' 44 percent.
Smith with 20 points leads Columbia over Dartmouth 77-74
NEW YORK (AP) — Mike Smith scored 20 points and Columbia kept Dartmouth winless in the Ivy League with a 77-74 victory on Saturday night.
Quinton Adlesh added 18 points on 6 of 10 shooting from distance for the Lions (6-13, 3-3). Lukas Meisner scored 16 points and led with 11 rebounds. Kyle Castlin also scored 16 and Patrick Tape had 10 rebounds.
Adlesh sank three 3-pointers early and Smith and Meisner each added another to help Columbia to a 21-12 lead and the Lions were up 39-27 at intermission.
Adlesh, Columbia hand Harvard first Ivy loss of season 83-76
NEW YORK (AP) — Quinton Adlesh scored 17 of his 20 points in the second half when Columbia charged back to hand Harvard its first Ivy League loss, 83-76, Friday night.
Adlesh made four of his five 3-pointers in the second half. Lukas Meisner added his third career double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Kyle Castlin and Mike Smith also scored 16 points, with Smith getting 14 in the second half. Patrick Tape added 10 points for the Lions (5-13, 2-3).
Columbia thumps Maine 83-71 for 2nd win of the year
NEW YORK (AP) — Quinton Adlesh had 16 points with a career-high seven assists and Mike Smith added another 16 points with eight assists as Columbia thumped Maine, 83-71 to earn its second win of the season on Saturday afternoon.
Columbia (2-10) shot 50 percent (17-34) from the field in the first half, compared to Maine's 30 percent, to take a 46-27 halftime advantage. The Lions had dropped nine straight before beating Maine.
