Miller hit 5 of 8 from 3-point range and grabbed eight rebounds. Deng Geu added 14 points on 6-of-7 shooting, Tyson Ward scored 13 and AJ Jacobson 12 for No. 5 seed North Dakota State (15-16).
The Bison will play top-seeded South Dakota State in the semifinals on Monday.

Johnson and Webster put up double-doubles in WIU win

Rosga, Amigo lead Denver to 66-63 win over North Dakota St.
DENVER (AP) — Joe Rosga hit five 3-pointers and finished with 26 points and Daniel Amigo scored 19 points on 8-of-12 shooting to help Denver beat North Dakota State 66-63 on Saturday.
Rosga was shot 7 of 12 from the field and Amigo tied his career high with three 3-pointers.
Ruder’s 3 in OT lifts Oral Roberts over NDSU 67-66
TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Austin Ruder scored 18 points with six 3-pointers, including the game-winning 3 with one second left in overtime, and Oral Roberts beat North Dakota State 67-66 on Thursday night to end a two-game skid.
The teams combined to miss five shots and force six turnovers before Ruder's 3 put ORU up 64-61 with 49 seconds left in overtime. Paul Miller made two free throws and Tyson Ward's 3 with five seconds left gave the Bison a 66-64 lead. After an ORU timeout, Ruder hit his winner.
South Dakota fends off North Dakota State 76-72

BROOKINGS, S.D. (AP) — Mike Daum scored 31 points and grabbed 13 rebounds as South Dakota State maintained its lock on first place in the Summit League by rolling past rival North Dakota State on Thursday night.
Daum drilled a 3 seven minutes into the game to give South Dakota State the lead, 15-12, and the Jackrabbits never trailed again. South Dakota State holds a one-game lead over second-place South Dakota, which beat Western Illinois 80-54, atop the Summit.
N Dakota St beats W Illinois 80-69 behind Miller’s 26 points
FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Paul Miller scored 26 points on 11-of-18 shooting, including his 1,500th career point, and North Dakota State dominated inside and pulled away in the second half to beat Western Illinois 80-69 on Saturday.
Cameron Hunter scored 13 points and Tyson Ward had 10 for the Bison (12-10, 4-3 Summit League), who outscored the Leathernecks 32-16 in the paint and trailed by as many as 12 points in the first half.
Hyeon Chung has retired from his semifinal match against defending champion Roger Federer at the Australian Open while trailing 1-6, 2-5. The South Korean player had taken a medical timeout earlier in the second set to receive treatment on his foot. The match was barely an hour old when he quit. Federer now advances to face Marin Cilic in Sunday's final for a chance at his 20th Grand Slam title.
Nebraska-Omaha men’s basketball falls to North Dakota State
Paul Miller scored 25 points, including five three-pointers, and Tyson Ward added 17 points as North Dakota State beat Nebraska-Omaha 73-58 last night.
The Bison conceded the lead just twice. Daniel Norl led three players in double figures for the Mavericks with 13 points. North Dakota State is now 11-10 overall and 3-3 in the Summit League while UNO falls to 7-16 overall and 2-5 in the league.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) — Bryson Scott scored 31 points, including the go-ahead 3-point play late, and Fort Wayne rallied from a 15-point first-half deficit to beat North Dakota State 92-88 on Saturday.
Scott scored his 500th point of the season to become the 17th Mastodon to do so, and notched his 27th career 20-point game.
Stewart scores 20 as North Dakota defeats North Dakota State
FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Marlon Stewart scored 20 points on 7-of-11 shooting to lead five players in double figures as North Dakota turned back North Dakota State 86-77 on Tuesday night.

FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Joe Rosga scored 15 points and Denver pulled away early in the second half and cruised to a 67-61 victory over North Dakota State on Thursday night for its first Summit League victory.
Denver (7-10, 1-2) used a 15-0 run, including three straight 3-pointers, spanning both halves for a 41-22 lead early in the second. Jake Pemberton scored five points and Ade Murkey had four during the stretch. The Pioneers held a double-digit lead until the last five minutes.
Hunter leads North Dakota State over South Dakota 84-79
VERMILLION, S.D. (AP) — Cameron Hunter scored a career-best 35 points to lead North Dakota State in an 84-79 win over South Dakota in Summit League action on Saturday.
Hunter was 9 of 12 from the field, made all five from distance and was 12 of 14 from the line for the Bison (9-7, 1-1) who pick up their first Summit League win. Paul Miller added 24 points with six rebounds and six assists.
Daum’s double-double lifts S. Dakota St. past N. Dakota St.
FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Mike Daum scored 37 points and grabbed 15 rebounds and South Dakota State beat North Dakota State 87-80 in a Summit League opener Wednesday night.
Daum — for the third time — tied his career high with 16 made free throws and finished perfect from the line. Daum recorded his seventh double-double of the season for South Dakota State (13-5), which has won four straight and six of its last seven.
Miller leads North Dakota St past Jamestown 99-50
FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Paul Miller scored 18 of his 23 points in the first half, Tyson Ward had a double-double and North Dakota State rolled to a 99-50 win over NAIA Jamestown on Saturday.
Ward had 12 points and a career-high 13 rebounds for the Bison (8-6). Cameron Hunter had nine points and eight rebounds.
Miller hit 6 of 7 shots, including all four of his 3-pointers, when the Bison raced to a 56-28 halftime lead. NDSU shot 66 percent (21 of 32), including 7 of 12 behind the arc.
North Dakota State wins Sun Bowl Invitational
EL PASO, Texas (AP) — Paul Miller scored 19 points and North Dakota State closed the game on a 19-2 run to beat Texas-El Paso 63-51 and win the Sun Bowl Invitational on Friday night.
Keith Frazier hit a jumper to give UTEP (5-3) a 49-44 lead with 7:53 to play. The Bison (7-6) went on a 14-0 run to take command and snap the Miners' four-game winning streak.
North Dakota State shoots past UNC Wilmington, 100-63
EL PASO, Texas (AP) — Tyson Ward scored 17 points and Deng Geu and Paul Miller each added 16 as North Dakota State opened the Sun Bowl Invitation Tournament with a 100-63 blowout win over UNC Wilmington on Thursday night.
The Bison put on an offensive show, shooting 61.1 percent from the field for the game and knocking down 14 of 25 from behind the three-point arc.
North Dakota State (6-6) knocked down nine 3-pointers in the first half, using treys to build a 52-28 advantage by intermission.
North Dakota State stampedes past Valley City State, 101-58
FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Deng Geu and Rocky Kreuser combined to score 35 points as North Dakota State drubbed NAIA Valley City State, 101-58 on Tuesday night.
The Bison stampeded to a 22-point lead by intermission, closing the period on an 8-0 run, and finished the game shooting 70.2 percent from the field (40 of 57), including 8 of 18 from behind the 3-point arc, and held a decisive, 40-21 edge on the boards.
N. Dakota St. dumps rival N. Dakota 88-79 shooting 60%
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — Paul Miller made a career-high 12 field goals in 16 attempts and scored 30 points and North Dakota State used 60-percent shooting to beat North Dakota 88-79 on Saturday.
North Dakota State (4-5) entered with just one win in five road games this season.
Tyson Ward helped the Bison start fast and made all three of his 3-pointers and North Dakota State led 29-15 on 12-for-15 shooting.
Missouri State beats North Dakota State 71-58
FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Alize Johnson scored 21 points, Reggie Scurry had 13 and Missouri State used a late run to get past North Dakota State 71-58 on Monday night.
The Bears (8-2) took the lead for good early in a 14-2 run capped by Scurry's layup to make it 63-52 with 4:20 left. They led by at least nine from there on their way to a sixth straight win.
Stephen F. Austin holds off North Dakota State in 54-50 win
NACOGDOCHES, Texas (AP) — Shannon Bogues scored 15 points and Stephen F. Austin held off North Dakota State for a 54-50 victory on Tuesday night.
Bogues was 5 of 14 from the field. Leon Gilmore III added 10 points and 10 rebounds for Stephen F. Austin (6-1), which is 5-0 at home.
Paul Miller scored 15 points and made three 3-pointers to lead North Dakota State (3-3). Jared Samuelson chipped in 14 points, including three 3-pointers.

FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Tyson Ward scored 26 points and North Dakota State ran away from Stetson in the second half of a 94-58 rout Saturday.
The Bison took the lead for good on Cameron Hunter's layup seven minutes into the game and by halftime pushed the lead to 10 points, 42-32, and started the second half on a 6-0 run.
North Dakota State (3-2) outscored the Hatters 52-26 in the second half.

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (AP) — Max Heidegger set career highs on Saturday with eight 3-pointers and 33 points and UC Santa Barbara beat North Dakota State 85-66 in the season opener for both teams.
The Gauchos used an 11-0 run to lead 54-36 with 15:20 to play. The Bison cut the deficit to 70-61 at 5:21 and got no closer down the stretch.
