Benfica fined for playing bullfighting song after victory
LISBON, Portugal (AP) — The Portuguese soccer federation has fined Benfica in 765 euros ($878) for playing a bullfighting song after its victory over rival Porto on Sunday.
The song was played through the loudspeakers at the Stadium of Light almost immediately after the team's 1-0 win over Porto.
The federation said Benfica violated regulations by playing the song inside the soccer stadium.

The Portugal under-21 international is the second acquisition in 24 hours for United manager Jose Mourinho, after the Premier League team reached an agreement with Shakhtar Donetsk to sign Brazil midfielder Fred on Tuesday.
Dalot, a 19-year-old full back, has signed a five-year contract, with an option to extend for a further year.

MADRID (AP) — The Spanish soccer federation has extended the contract of national team coach Julen Lopetegui until 2020.
The federation made the announcement Tuesday, less than a week before Spain begins its preparations for next month's World Cup in Russia.
Lopetegui took over as coach after the team's elimination from the 2016 European Championship. He led the national team on an 18-match unbeaten streak and comfortably qualified for the World Cup in a group that included Italy.
