TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved the first drug specifically developed for severe depression after childbirth.

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Three mental health professionals from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Nebraska Medicine will be speaking at the next Omaha Science Café about postpartum depression.
The event is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Slowdown, 729 N. 14th St.
Science Cafés involve face-to-face conversations with scientists about current science topics. They are open to everyone 21 and older.

GAINESVILLE, Ga. (AP) — For about four years, Amy Corn had been living her life undiagnosed. Her pain wasn't from something anyone could easily see, and no one ever told her what it was.
While sitting with a friend at lunch one day, she finally realized what was wrong.
There’s one message Kerri Abney makes sure to share with mothers when she’s visiting with them to talk about postpartum depression.
“I tell them, you are not crazy, and you are not weak,” Abney said.
Abney, a women’s and children’s social worker at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, is making more visits to mothers since the hospital started screening all mothers for mental wellness between when they give birth and are discharged.

Trump, in an interview for "The Dr. Oz Show," called it a "very challenging, emotional time for me."
