‘Fresh Prince’ star sues maker of video games over his dance
LOS ANGELES (AP) — "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" star Alfonso Ribeiro is suing the creators of Fortnite and NBA 2K for using his famous dance on the popular video games.
In separate lawsuits filed Monday in federal court, Ribeiro alleges that Fortnite-maker Epic Games and 2K Sports-creator Take-Two Interactive used his dance dubbed "The Carlton Dance" without permission or credit.
Ribeiro's dance was popularized through his character, Carlton Banks, on the 1990s sitcom.

CHANHASSEN, Minn. (AP) — The Minnesota Timberwolves are paying tribute to Prince with a purple-highlighted uniform.
The team Thursday unveiled Prince-inspired City Edition uniforms. The new look uniforms were created in collaboration between the Timberwolves, Nike and the Prince estate.

The Daily Mirror, a British tabloid, published a story over the weekend saying that Mars was "being lined up to play Prince" in a biopic to air on Netflix. The story was picked up by several online sites and was circulating widely.
But Mars' representative says the story is not true and Netflix says there's no film in development.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The family of the late rock star Prince is suing a doctor who prescribed pain pills for him, saying the doctor failed to treat him for opiate addiction and therefore bears responsibility for his death two years ago, their attorney announced Friday.
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Prince estate and Sony Music Entertainment have signed a distribution deal for 35 of Prince's previously released album titles.
The catalog included in the deal will be distributed by Legacy Recordings, a division of Sony.
According to details announced Wednesday, albums originally released between 1995 and 2010 will be available for worldwide distribution this year, including The Gold Experience, Emancipation and 3121.
