PARIS (AP) — Lille stepped up its bid for second place in the French league and automatic qualification for the Champions League by winning 2-0 at Guingamp before Lyon lost 1-0 at Nice on Sunday.
The win puts Lille six points ahead of third-placed Lyon, while Nice climbed up to seventh spot.

LILLE, France (AP) — Lille substitute Xeka scored late on to clinch a 2-1 win over Amiens on Friday that consolidated second place behind Paris Saint-Germain in the French league.
The Portuguese midfielder netted in the 85th minute to cancel out compatriot Rafael Leao's equalizer in first-half injury time for the relegation-threatened visitors.
Nicolas Pepe had earlier missed a penalty for Lille, which went ahead through Juan Ferney Otero in the fifth minute.

PARIS (AP) — Lille maintained its push for second place and an automatic Champions League spot next season with a 3-1 win at Caen on Friday.
Lille's slick attack was too much for Caen and it was 2-0 after 20 minutes, thanks to goals from club top scorer Nicolas Pepe and 19-year-old Portuguese Rafael Leao.
Pepe's 13th league goal matches his tally from last season.
Even the sending off of Turkish defender Zeki Celik 10 minutes from the end did not hold Lille back.
