BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) — Jared Savage tallied 16 points and 11 rebounds to lead Western Kentucky to a 71-63 win over Middle Tennessee on Thursday night.

Trey Murphy scores 18 points and Rice tops Middle Tennessee
HOUSTON (AP) — Trey Murphy III scored 18 points and the fourth of his four 3-pointers ignited a decisive run in Rice's 79-68 victory over Middle Tennessee on Thursday night.
The second half saw big go-ahead runs alternating among both teams, but Rice went on a 16-0 blitz to take command 70-55 with 3:34 remaining. Murphy's 3-pointer, his final points of the game, gave Rice the lead to begin the outburst.
Middle Tennessee rallies to beat UTEP 75-72
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (AP) — Antonio Green hit five 3-pointers and scored 21 points, Reggie Scurry added 19 points, nine rebounds and made four assists, and Middle Tennessee rallied to beat UTEP 75-72 on Saturday night.
Donovan Sims scored 12 with two 3s for the Blue Raiders (5-14, 2-4 Conference USA), who scored 27 points off of 20 forced turnovers and made 8 of 22 3-pointers.
Louisiana Tech cruises past Middle Tennessee 73-56
RUSTON, La. (AP) — Anthony Duruji scored 19 points, Mubarak Muhammed added 11 points and 10 rebounds and Louisiana Tech beat Middle Tennessee 73-56 on Saturday for its seventh consecutive home victory.
Amorie Archibald added 15 points and seven assists, and Ra'Shawn Langston had 10 points for Louisiana Tech (13-5, 3-2 Conference USA).

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Simi Shittu scored 15 points and Matthew Moyer added a season-high 14 and Vanderbilt beat Middle Tennessee 79-51 on Wednesday night.
The Commodores (6-2), who lost point guard Dais Garland to a season-ending knee injury on Nov. 23, rebounded from Saturday's loss to North Carolina State.

Middle Tennessee beats Milligan for McDevitt’s 100th win
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (AP) — Antonio Green sank six 3-pointers and scored 24 points, senior Karl Gamble had his first career double-double and Middle Tennessee beat NAIA Milligan 102-70 on Friday for coach Nick McDevitt's 100th career victory.
Green, who also had 24 points in the opener, scored 18 in the first half and the Blue Raiders went on a 31-2 run over a six-minute stretch to help build a 55-25 halftime lead.

FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Alize Johnson scored 21 points, Reggie Scurry had 13 and Missouri State used a late run to get past North Dakota State 71-58 on Monday night.
The Bears (8-2) took the lead for good early in a 14-2 run capped by Scurry's layup to make it 63-52 with 4:20 left. They led by at least nine from there on their way to a sixth straight win.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) — Jarred Dixon made all three of his 3-pointers to score 13 points and Missouri State cruised to an 80-48 win over NAIA cross-town rival Evangel on Friday night.
Obediah Church had his second career double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds plus five blocks and J.T. Miller and Reggie Scurry had 10 points for the Bears (5-2). Miller, a senior transfer from Howard, surpassed 1,000 points with his first basket.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) — J.T. Miller scored 14 points and four teammates also reached double figures as Missouri State upended Western Kentucky 85-80 in a season opener Friday night.
The Bears had taken an 81-74 lead before Western Kentucky started dropping 3-pointers and came as close as 82-80 with 15 seconds left in the game before Ryan Kreklow sank two from the line and Western Kentucky missed a 3 at the other end.
