Efianayi was 7-of-12 shooting and had a game-high four steals. Liam O'Reilly added 14 points for the Bulldogs.
The Citadel rallies past High Point 79-77
HIGH POINT, N.C. (AP) — Preston Parks hit three 3-pointers and scored 16 points and The Citadel rallied in the second half to turn back High Point 79-77 on Saturday.
Andre Fox sank a 3-pointer with 6:33 left in the game to give High Point a 65-58 lead, but the Bulldogs (3-2) put together a 15-0 run to seize control. Parks and Kaelon Harris turned steals into layups to begin the run and Parks buried a 3-pointer to cap the run and give The Citadel a 73-65 lead with 2:20 left to play.
Kemrite does right as Liberty edges High Point 55-52
LYNCHBURG, Va. (AP) — Ryan Kemrite scored eight of his 21 points down the stretch, including a pair of 3-pointers as Liberty held on to defeat High Point 55-52 for its seventh win in a row on Tuesday night.
The win puts the Flames alone atop the Big South Conference, at least until the rest of the conference plays on Wednesday.
UNC-Asheville wards off pesky High Point in 74-71 win
HIGH POINT, N.C. (AP) — Ahmad Thomas scored 19 points, had six steals and six rebounds and MaCio Teague scored 18 with clutch free-throwing shooting down the stretch to lead UNC-Asheville to a 74-71 win over High Point Saturday night.
Teague made a pair of free throws to put the Bulldogs up 72-68 with 14 seconds to play. Andre Fox responded with a 3 for High Point, which then called a timeout with five seconds left.
Clutch Kemrite propels Liberty past High Point 62-58

High Point was just 1 of 16 from distance before Lindauer's basket capped a 16-3 run in final 90 seconds.

HIGH POINT, N.C. (AP) — Anthony Lindauer hit a career-high four 3-pointers and scored 16 points, Andre Fox had 14 points and eight rebounds, and High Point rolled to a 74-41 win over Division III Averett in the season opener on Saturday night.
