The Riverton Ranger reports Robert Tillman Jr., of Fort Washakie, had a blood-alcohol content of 0.273 percent when he died Nov. 17. In Wyoming, a BAC of 0.08 percent is considered intoxicated.

Prosecutors say James Oldman unplugged a freezer to cause meat to spoil and try to disguise the scent of the decomposing body.
The jury reached its verdict Friday after a five-day trial. The Riverton Ranger reports Oldman faces up to life in prison when sentenced in March in federal court in Casper.

Murphy says the suspect shot at officers, who returned fire. The man, whose name has not been released, died at a nearby hospital.

2 people who died at scene of Wyoming house fire identified
RIVERTON, Wyo. (AP) — Authorities have released the names of two people who died at the scene of a house fire in central Wyoming.
The Riverton Ranger reports 64-year-old Barry Fuller and 57-year-old Brenda Fuller were found in the burning home in Shoshoni on Sunday.
A neighbor smelled and saw smoke coming from the roof of the house and called for firefighters.
