ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — The front office at St. Paul Music Academy looks like most school offices. There's a spot for the principal, the school nurse and the receptionist.
But there's also a dentist chair where students and their siblings can get needed dental care several times a month. The school also has a therapist, provides literacy tutoring, hosts a monthly food shelf and operates a family center offering resources on housing, energy and other assistance.

CVS Employee charged with stealing diabetes test strips
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) — A western New York man has been arrested on charges of using his job as a buyer for CVS to steal $2.5 million worth of diabetes test strips.
U.S. Attorney James P. Kennedy Jr. says 35-year-old Antonio Rivera ordered excess boxes of the test strips for the Rochester CVS store where he worked and sold them to third-party purchasers.
TSA reports dip in guns stopped at 4 upstate NY airports
ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — Federal security officers caught 14 handguns last year at checkpoints in four upstate New York airports. That's a decrease of two from the previous year.
The Transportation Security Administration says only Buffalo Niagara International Airport saw an increase, from three to seven guns caught. Albany International had a decrease from six to three guns, Rochester a decrease from four to two, and Syracuse a decrease from three to two.

3 men accused of plotting attack on Muslim enclave in court
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) — The case of one of three men accused of plotting to attack an upstate New York Muslim community is headed to a grand jury.
The three men who appeared in town court Tuesday in suburban Rochester are accused of planning to attack the rural community of Islamberg with explosives. They were arrested last month on charges of criminal possession of a weapon and conspiracy.
Police: Bus driver drove drunk with students on board
IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. (AP) — Police say a school bus driver drove drunk in upstate New York with students on board.
Authorities have filed multiple charges against 54-year-old Anderson Hollins, including felony aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child and felony aggravated driving while intoxicated while operating a bus with a passenger.
Police say Hollins drove seven students, ranging in age from 5 to 11 years old, to a school in suburban Rochester Monday morning. No students were injured.

Man convicted of murder for running over 3-year-old boy
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) — A man has been convicted of murder, drunken driving and leaving the scene of an accident in the death of a 3-year-old boy last June in Rochester.
A jury convicted 48-year-old Frank Cassata of Mount Morris on Friday. Prosecutors say Cassata was drunk and had been arguing with a group of people when he plowed his car onto a Rochester sidewalk trying to hit a man. The vehicle hit 3-year-old Amir Pallet, who died.
Winter storm blamed for at least 3 upstate New York deaths
BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — A winter storm that delivered heavy snow and biting cold was blamed Thursday for at least three deaths and possibly a fourth, that of a homeless man whose frozen body was found in a suburban Buffalo bus shelter.
Two men died clearing snow, Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz said, and a 59-year-old man was killed when his vehicle hit a snowdrift and then slammed into a pole in Livingston County, south of Rochester, state police said.
