Jarnkrok recorded his first career hat trick to lead the Predators to a 5-3 victory over the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday night.
"That was a good night for him," Nashville coach Peter Laviolette said. "I thought he played terrific, forget about the goals, just the game in general. I thought he was really moving."

DALLAS (AP) — Mattias Ekholm started overtime in the penalty box. He finished it off with the winning goal.
Ekholm scored 2:27 into overtime, and the Nashville Predators rallied to beat the Dallas Stars 5-4 on Saturday.
Ekholm was penalized for cross checking with 14 seconds left in regulation, 29 seconds after teammate Roman Josi scored the game-tying goal.

"Anytime you miss time, you're a little nervous," Rinne said. "I was happy that we played one of the top teams. You have to have a mindset that you might be busy. I felt good, and obviously very happy with the win."
