Rivers, Fresno State top Arizona State in Las Vegas Bowl
LAS VEGAS (AP) — Running back Ronnie Rivers might be the embodiment of Fresno State's turnaround.
It wasn't guaranteed Rivers would be able to play this season after sustaining a foot injury in spring practice, and he was limited by a shoulder injury late in the year. But Rivers was there, leading the way as the Bulldogs completed their journey after going 1-11 two seasons ago.
No. 24 Fresno State outlasts No. 19 Boise State in snow
BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Ronnie Rivers didn't find many open holes while running the ball for Fresno State in a snowy Mountain West championship game.
And he didn't have one on his final run Saturday night. But it didn't matter.
Rivers took an option pitch and shredded a tackler before scampering into the end zone to give No. 24 Fresno State a 19-16 overtime victory over No. 19 Boise State for the Bulldogs' first conference title since 2013.
Johnson, Fresno State beat San Jose State 31-13
FRESNO, Calif. (AP) — Marcus McMaryion passed for 317 yards and two touchdowns and KeeSean Johnson became Fresno State career leader in receiving yards as the Bulldogs beat San Jose State 31-13 on Saturday night.
Johnson finished with seven receptions for a career-high 173 yards and a score. He has 3,390 career receiving yards, moving past Rodney Wright (3,274) and Charlie Jones (3,344) into first on the program's career list.
Fresno St. beats SDSU 23-14, clinches berth in MW title game
FRESNO, Calif. (AP) — Ronnie Rivers had 22 carries for 78 yards, including a 2-yard touchdown that gave Fresno State the lead for good, and the Bulldogs beat San Diego State 23-14 on Saturday night to clinch the Mountain West Conference's West Division title.
Fresno State (9-2, 6-1), which has won the division twice in a row and four times in the last six season, will play either No. 23 Utah State or No. 25 Boise State in the conference championship game on Dec. 1.
McMaryion energizes Fresno St. in 50-20 win over Hawaii
FRESNO, Calif. (AP) — Marcus McMaryion threw for 284 yards and four touchdowns and Fresno State blew it open before halftime to beat Hawaii 50-20 Saturday night.
Following a power outage that delayed the game roughly 30 minutes not long after the contest started, Fresno State (7-1, 4-0 Mountain West Conference) lit it up in the second quarter scoring 23 points en route to a 37-13 halftime lead.
McMaryion leads Fresno State past New Mexico 38-7
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — Marcus McMaryion threw for 280 yards and three touchdowns and the Fresno State defense stifled New Mexico in winning 38-7 on Saturday night.
KeeSean Johnson grabbed eight catches for 149 yards and two touchdowns for Fresno State (6-1, 3-0 Mountain West). Ronnie Rivers added two scoring runs as the Bulldogs their fifth straight.
McMaryion, Rivers help Fresno State beat Nevada 21-3
RENO, Nev. (AP) — Marcus McMaryion was 20-of-28 passing for 241 yards and Ronnie Rivers scored two touchdowns to help Fresno State beat Nevada 21-3 on Saturday night.
McMaryion threw touchdowns passes to Rivers and KeeSean Johnson, who finished with seven receptions for 65 yards.
Fresno State (4-1, 1-0 Mountain West), which came in averaging 45 points and 439.8 total yards per game, was limited to a season-low 271 yards but forced three Nevada turnovers.
Fresno State beats Wyoming 13-7 to reach MWC title game
LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — Marcus McMaryion threw for 186 yards and a touchdown, and Fresno State clinched a spot in the Mountain West title game by beating short-handed Wyoming 13-7 on a cold and windy Saturday.
Fresno State (8-3, 6-1) will face Boise State on Dec. 2 after the Bulldogs secured the West Division title. It's Fresno State's third championship berth in five seasons.

Rivers finished with 105 yards rushing on 19 carries for the Bulldogs (3-2, 2-0 Mountain West Conference). Marcus McMaryion threw for 136 yards and Jimmy Camacho kicked two field goals.
Johnson, defense lead Fresno State past Nevada, 41-21
FRESNO, Calif. (AP) — KeeSean Johnson had seven receptions for 104 yards and a career-high tying three touchdowns and the Fresno State defense forced six turnovers — including three on downs — to help the Bulldogs beat Nevada 41-21 on Saturday night.
Marcus McMaryion completed 24 of 32 passes for 296 yards and two touchdowns and Ronnie Rivers had 12 carries for 82 yards and a score for Fresno State (2-2, 1-0 Mountain West).
Hokit, defense help Fresno St beat Incarnate Word 66-0
FRESNO, Calif. (AP) — Josh Hokit accounted for three touchdowns and the Fresno State defense limited Incarnate Word to minus-7 yards rushing on Saturday night to help the Bulldogs beat the Cardinals 66-0 in the season opener for both teams.
Hokit, a sophomore running back, had two short rushing touchdowns and hit Jared Rice for a 65-yard score. Chason Virgil was 16-of-29 passing for 246 yards and a touchdown and KeeSean Johnson had seven receptions for 120 yards for the Bulldogs.
