Harvick shot past polesitter Ryan Blaney on the final restart in overtime Sunday. As the leader, Harvick took the outside line for the third restart in the last 35 laps. By time they got to the backstretch to start a green-white-checkered finish, Harvick had already cleared the field.

So maybe a rain-delayed celebration was the perfect tribute for his first career victory at the Brickyard.
Allgaier led each of the final 10 laps on Monday and held off a last-lap challenge from teammate Tyler Reddick to claim his fifth victory of the season. Allgaier won by 0.092 seconds. Ryan Blaney was third.

Paul Menard wins pole for NASCAR Cup Series race
JOLIET, Ill. (AP) — Paul Menard won the pole Saturday for Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series race at Chicagoland Speedway.
It's the second career pole for Menard, who has just one top-five finish this season. He also qualified first for a race at Daytona almost exactly 10 years ago.
"Ten years, it goes by quick. I feel old now," the 37-year-old Menard said with a wry grin.
