ITHICA, N.Y. (AP) — Richmond Aririguzoh scored 20 points as Princeton beat Cornell 70-61 in overtime on Saturday night.
The Tigers went ahead for good, 60-59, on an Aririguzoh dunk early in overtime and Cornell was held to just five points in the extra period.
Aririguzoh was 6 of 6 from the field and 8 of 10 from the line for the Tigers (12-5, 4-0 Ivy League), who have won seven straight. Myles Stephens added 15 points and eight rebounds and Ryan Schwieger had 14 points and five rebounds.
Princeton builds big early lead, wins 55-43
NEW YORK (AP) — Myles Stephens scored 17 points, 10 in the first half when Princeton built a 17-point lead, and the Tigers defeated Columbia 55-43 on Friday night for their sixth straight win.
Columbia shot only 26 percent in the first half and missed on all eight of its 3-point tries in falling behind 34-17, the fewest points given up in a half by the Tigers this season.
Princeton cruises past D-III Wesley College 91-62
PRINCETON, N.J. (AP) — Ryan Schwieger scored 15 points on 6-for-6 shooting with two 3-pointers and Princeton rolled to a 91-62 win over Division III Wesley College on Sunday.
Three other players reached double figures and the Tigers (10-5), who have won five straight, played 15 players. Jerome Desrosiers had 12 rebounds as Princeton had a 52-27 rebounding advantage.
Cannady scores season-high 28; Princeton beats Maine 73-59
BANGOR, Maine (AP) — Devin Cannady scored a season-high 28 points to lead Princeton to a 73-59 victory over Maine on Wednesday night.
Cannady jumped two spots to No. 10 all-time in career scoring (1,294) at Princeton, surpassing Gabe Lewullis (1,277, 1999) and Bud Haabestad (1955, 1,292). He was 7 of 10 from the field and made five 3-pointers.
Richmond Aririguzoh added 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Tigers (3-2). Myles Stephens chipped in with nine points and Ryan Schwieger had eight.
