Woods, Nuga lead Portland St. over N. Arizona 103-94
PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Holland Woods had 27 points and 10 assists as Portland State got past Northern Arizona 103-94 on Thursday night. Michael Nuga added 22 points for the Vikings, while Sal Nuhu chipped in 20.
Woods also committed seven turnovers. Nuhu also had eight rebounds and six blocks for the Vikings.
Portland State is undefeated (3-0) when scoring at least 100 points this season.
Sacramento St. beats Portland St. 78-67
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Ethan Esposito and Marcus Graves scored 16 points apiece as Sacramento State defeated Portland State 78-67 on Monday night. Osi Nwachukwu added 15 points for the Hornets.
Bryce Fowler had 10 points for Sacramento State (10-11, 4-8 Big Sky Conference).
Michael Nuga had 19 points for the Vikings (9-14, 4-8). Holland Woods added 11 points. Sal Nuhu had three blocks.
Orme, Woods help Portland St. snap skid, beat E. Washington
PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Holland Woods had 15 points and 11 assists and Jamie Orme also scored 15, including 12 after halftime, to help Portland State beat Eastern Washington 78-65 Thursday night to snap a three-game skid.
Weber State beats Portland State 95-88 in OT
PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Jerrick Harding scored 23 points, and Brekkott Chapman had five of his 19 points in overtime as Weber State beat Portland State 95-88 on Saturday night.
Weber State (10-6, 4-1 Big Sky Conference) scored the last seven points in the extra period, and rebounded from a 90-82 OT loss at home to Southern Utah on Jan. 5 that snapped its four-game win streak.
Hall scores 32, leads Montana St. over Portland St. 98-88
BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) — Tyler Hall made six 3-pointers and finished with a season-high 32 points to lead Montana State to a 98-88 victory over Portland State on Thursday night.
Montana State (5-8, 2-1 Big Sky Conference) has won four of its last six games. Portland State (5-8, 0-2) has lost five straight.
Harald Frey added 25 points, with seven assists and six rebounds for the Bobcats. Keljin Blevins and Lassi Nikkarinen each added 10 points.
Joiner helps CSU Bakersfield hold off Portland St 76-71
PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Jarkel Joiner tossed in a career-high 24 points, Damiyne Durham scored all 18 of his points in a dominant first half and Cal State Bakersfield held off Portland State 76-71 on Thursday night.
Joiner hit 10 of 16 shots for the Roadrunners, who shot 63 percent (19 of 30) in the first half, including 5 of 11 from 3-point range, and led 47-29 at intermission. Durham hit 7 of 9 shots, including 4 of 6 from 3-point range, in the opening half.
Haws scores 30 points, leads BYU over Portland State 85-66
PROVO, Utah (AP) — TJ Haws made five 3-pointers and scored a career-high 30 points to lead BYU to an 85-66 victory over Portland State on Wednesday night.
BYU (8-4) has won two straight since snapping a three-game skid. Portland State (5-4) has lost two of its last four games.
Haws was 9 of 15 from the floor and had five assists. Yoeli Childs added 13 points, and Zac Seljaas and Connor Harding 11 apiece for the Cougars. Nick Emery scored five points in 24 minutes in his third game of the season.
McCoy scores 24 in Portland State’s record-setting win
PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Robert McCoy scored 26 points to lead seven Portland State players in double figures and the Vikings beat Portland Bible 123-40 on Saturday night.
Portland State set program records for turnovers forced (43), steals (31) and margin of victory (83) — breaking the previous mark of 75 set almost a year ago. The Vikings (4-3) beat Portland Bible, a member of the National Christian Collegiate Athletics Association, 125-50 on Dec. 2, 2017.
Da Silva, Sharma lead Stanford past Vikings, 79-67
STANFORD, Calif. (AP) — Oscar da Silva had last year's loss to Portland State on his mind and used it for motivation. Josh Sharma said it felt like he had a chip on his shoulder.
Da Silva scored 12 points, Bryce Wills added 10 and six others scored at least seven points in helping Stanford down Portland State 79-67 on Wednesday night.
"It was heartbreaking, tough loss in Portland," da Silva said.
Portland State rolls past NW Nazarene 91-75
BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Derek Brown and Holland Woods scored 16 points apiece and Portland State rolled to a 91-75 victory over Division II-member Northwest Nazarene on Saturday night at the Vandal Holiday Hoops Showcase.
The Vikings (3-2) scored the first seven points and never looked back. Portland State's lead grew to 20 by the 8:45 mark and it upped its advantage to 48-23 at halftime. Michael Nuga made back-to-back layups to push the Vikings' lead to 30 with 14:52 to play.
UC Santa Barbara beats Portland State 76-69
BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Ar'mond Davis had 20 points and six rebounds to help UC Santa Barbara beat Portland State 76-69 in the Vandal Holiday Hoops Showcase on Friday night.
The Gauchos (4-1) pulled away for good with an 11-4 run to lead 70-58 on JaQuori McLaughlin's 3-point play with 2:37 left in the game.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Jamie Orme had 19 points and 13 rebounds and Portland State routed Division III Willamette 125-61 on Saturday night.
Holland Woods and Michael Nuga scored 22 points apiece to lead Portland State (2-1). Juwan Williams added 13 points and Sal Nuhu had 12. Robert McCoy had his first career double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds. The Vikings shot 46 of 84 (55 percent) from the field, made 13 3-pointers and outrebounded Willamette 52-27.
