BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — Takal Molson had 18 points, Canisius shot 64 percent in the second half, and the Golden Griffins defeated Monmouth 80-66 on Thursday night.
The Golden Griffins' hot shooting — they also made 7-of-11 3-pointers after halftime — was in sharp contrast to Monmouth, which shot 37 percent in the second half and 2-for-8 from distance.

HAMDEN, Conn. (AP) — Takal Molson scored the go-ahead layup with 5.6 seconds remaining and Canisius defeated Quinnipiac 65-63 on Thursday night.

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — Takal Molson scored 23 points and Isaiah Reese added 20 as Canisius rallied in the second half to beat Siena 70-66 on Saturday night.
Molson and Reese also contributed eight rebounds apiece for the Golden Griffins (5-8, 2-0 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference). Scott Hitchon added 11 points and Jalanni White chipped in eight points and eight boards.
Canisius beats Quinnipiac 82-74
HAMDEN, Conn. (AP) — Isaiah Reese scored 20 points, Jermaine Crumpton added 19 and Canisius beat Quinnipiac 82-74 on Monday night.
Quinnipiac cut a 16-point deficit down to two points on three occasions down the stretch but Jonathan Sanks answered the first with a 3-pointer, pushed the lead to four with two free throws and Scott Hitchon's dunk made it 72-68 with four minutes remaining.
