Vasser and Sullivan partnered with AIM Autosport on the venture and brokered a deal for factory support from Lexus. The team will replace 3GT Racing, which helped launch the Lexus sports car program in 2016.

IndyCar officials called the race after a second lengthy rain delay. It will be completed Monday morning with a restart on Lap 23.
The race had been scheduled for 90 laps with a two-hour limit because of the heavy rain that contributed to some spinouts.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — IndyCar driver Pippa Mann has been hired by Dale Coyne Racing to compete in this year's Indianapolis 500.
The Briton will be the fourth driver on the team, joining Sebastien Bourdais, Pietro Fittipaldi and Conor Daly. Mann will attempt to make her seventh career Indy start in the No. 63 car, sponsored by Donate Life Indiana.

Indiana University Methodist Hospital doctors told track officials that the 38-year-old Frenchman had multiple fractures in his pelvis and a fractured right hip.
